I have walked and watched a variety of dogs ranging from 5lbs to 100lbs. I currently have an 10 year old Golden Retriever who is friendly with others.
A typical day
I love hiking with my own dogs and would love to do the same with others. I am familiar with some nice trails with creeks in the Gaithersburg area but can explore new places if needed. I can go for runs with dogs if wanted also.

Pet care experience
Since I was eight years old, I have always had at least one dog. My home has constantly welcomed any and all dogs. My family had two of our own and fostered two dogs at one point. I have many years of dog walking and dog sitting experience. My own dog gets a two mile minimum walk per day so I have no problem providing that to others. On weekends I love taking my dog (and any other dogs at my house) hiking, exploring and swimming. I am patient and careful and loving. I also have experience with rescued dogs that have had traumatic pasts. At no time in my life can I imagine or expect being without the presence of a fur baby (:

Mackenna was fantastic with Sydney! We will be using her again in July! She is very flexible, responsible and obviously loves dogs! Her house is perfect for either an active or an older dog. Would definitely recommend!
