SCHEDULE: I work in Shoreline 9 hours a day, Selectively accepting new clients for drop ins and walks while I seek full time employment. I've had the joy of owning a Pyrenees and a Labrador, sharing countless adventures together. I also played a significant role in raising a Chocolate Lab named Bhodi, starting from when he joined our family at 12 weeks. He brought so much joy and energy into our lives. I facilitated the rehoming of a lovely little sister for Bhodi, named McKenzie. I'm immensely proud of the life I helped her transition into. While I may not have formal training, I understand that every animal and household is unique. I am committed to adapting to their individual wants and needs to ensure a positive experience for both the pets and their owners. Currently, my living situation doesn't allow for my own pets, but I happily embrace the role of a lovingAuntie, or Spare Human, always ready with the snacks. I cherish the unconditional love and grace that our pets offer us, and I strive to return that love.

I am not offering pet sitting services in my home. I will care for your pets according to your specific instructions, whether they need to be crated or placed in a particular area. I adhere to the campsite rule: "Leave it better than you found it." This applies not only to your pets but also to your home. Occasionally, I may need to run errands at my pet-free home. Additionally, I would love the opportunity to take your pup on a field trip for special outings. If that arises, I will be sure to discuss it with you in advance and obtain your consent.

Machele is the most incredible sitter. She showers my pets with affection and is trusted to give medication to my elderly cat. This time, I had a family emergency and Machele went above and beyond to both provide extended pet sitting while I was out of state and ensure there was petsitting lined up if I needed. And as always, she left my home cleaner than she found it which was such a pleasant return after a stressful trip. Ty!💜
Five stars! Machele took excellent care of Benny, our Lab, and Mocha, our 14-year-old Puggle. Machele was extremely thorough, asked lots of detailed questions ahead of time, and carefully planned for anything unexpected that might come up while we were away. Machele communicated clearly throughout the stay and sent us lots of photos, so we always knew the dogs were happy and doing well. We felt completely comfortable leaving Benny and Mocha in Machele’s care and would absolutely hire her again!
Machele was amazing for watching our reactive doggy. She also did great with our cat who isnt the friendliest. She met with us early fully understand the situation. She also had a through intake to cover everything. She gave us daily updates on how the animals were doing. Through all of it she made us feel very comfortable with leaving our animals with her. She was very clean and tidy as well. Would definitely love to have her watch them again!
Machele is so considerate and it is always a pleasure to have her stay with our dogs. We have three rescue dogs that come with their own quirks and Machele is great with them.
Machele did an excellent job watching our beloved George. She showed up on time and gave us consistent updates (plenty of pictures). She asked very detailed questions about our pet prior to the sitting to ensure he was properly taken care of. You can tell Machele truly cares about the pets she is sitting. We highly recommend!
Machele is an excellent dog walker. She’s professional, punctual, and asks detailed questions about our dog to ensure excellent care is given. We will be using her services again for both walks and the next time we go on a trip. Cannot recommend enough! Thank you, Machele! 😁

I'd love to make a living on pet sitting, but I can't do that and charge affordable rates at the same time. I am seeking new pet owners for drop ins and walks while I look for full time employment. I prioritize clear communication regarding the hours I will be away from your pets. If your pets cannot be left alone for several hours while I fulfill my job commitments and travel back and forth to your residence, we will not be the best match. It's essential that your pets can comfortably be on their own for this duration, plus the travel time to and from my workplace. I occasionally have availability for daytime drop ins and walks. I prioritize existing clients for this. Understanding your expectations and discussing how I can best meet your needs is important to me. When house sitting, I prefer not to take on additional appointments with other pets to ensure I can devote my full attention to your furry companions. However, if there is any overlap, I will communicate that with you in advance to set clear expectations. If you're looking for someone who can provide a consistent routine for walks, I am not the best fit. Nevertheless, I am happy to offer drop-ins and walks for my existing clients.

- Let me know of all your furry friends special and specific needs. I do require ** AT LEAST** one meet and greet with you and your pet so that I can make sure that I am able to meet your expectations, and their needs. I may ask for more, so that your critters and I can be comfortable with each other, so I can do my best to ensure a smooth visit. I also have a questionnaire all pet parents must fill out. If you have a "reactive"or "resource guarding" dog, please feel free to reach out to me. Understanding the nuance is wildly important. I want your critters to be happy in my care. I give good belly rubs! I will talk to them in a soft voice, (I do not like to yell unless an emergency) and give them lots of praise and affection. I know that especially during the pandemic, a lot of dogs were adopted, have backgrounds of trauma, and may not have had the opportunity to be socialized. I am the kind of person who wants to win them over with positive experiences and establishing trust.
