I have been working in animal care for 6 years now caring for dogs, cats, and farm animals alike. I am a Veterinary Student and have worked at a Veterinary Hospital caring for animals full-time! I have experience as a dog/cat sitter for friends, family, and neighbors for many years.

I am able to work in various conditions when it comes to animals. I am trained to work with varying temperaments and can easily interact with most species and/or breeds. I am great at organization and can follow whatever rules are laid out to me by the client. Pet safety is my number 1 goal and believe all pets are family members!

Machara is wonderful! I’m a traveling nurse new to Vermont and was overjoyed to find her. She is responsive and reliable and takes great care of my pit bull, Tyson. During her drop in visits meets all his walking, playing, pottying, and cuddling needs. She also sends lots of great pictures :) she is definitely an animal lover!
Machara is super responsible, kind, and will care for your pet like it’s her own. She has been taking care of animals since she was a child and has a deep love for each and every one she interacts with. Machara helps to take care of our roommates puppy and has lots of valuable experience working with different animals as a vet tech. She’s amazing!
Machara is the kindest and hardest working person I know! She will take amazing care of your animals as she does with the UVM CREAM cows and her job as a vet tech!

Schedule
Varied but flexible schedule throughout the week as I am a veterinary student! Have availability throughout all 7 days of the week. Open to flexible scheduling.
