I provide a calm, stable environment and am diligent about following instructions you provide, reaching out for clarification if necessary. I take only one booking at a time so each pet receives safe, attentive, personalized care. I have an extra large, memory foam couch that pups seem to prefer over their own beds! My dog, Iris, is used to having visiting dogs in the home. She is calm, gentle, and respectful of other dogs’ space. I carefully manage interactions and always prioritize a slow, positive introduction to ensure everyone feels comfortable. I never leave dogs unattended until I confirm they are fully comfortable with each other. I take compatibility seriously and only accept bookings that I feel will be a good fit for all pets involved. If I ever have concerns about energy levels or personalities, I’ll discuss them openly ahead of time so expectations are clear. For safety, I never let dogs off leash unless given explicit instruction to do so.

A typical day includes regular potty breaks, walks, playtime, and rest, based on your pet’s routine and energy level. There's a nature trail right in my neighborhood as well as a park, which provides dogs with tons of room to romp and take in all the smells. I like to balance activity with downtime so pets feel comfortable and relaxed.

Hi there! I’m Macey, a compassionate lover of all animals with a tendency to get gushy around dogs. I'm a seasoned pet-sitter and can handle all of your dog’s unique behaviors, traits, and quirks. I’m a full-time online grad student, allowing me to devote most of my day to your furry ones. You can expect daily check-ins with lots of photos. My dog, Iris, is also a great host and gets along wonderfully with other dogs. I never host dogs from different homes at the same time, in order to ensure calm, attentive care as well as your peace of mind. Given my ownership of multiple rescue dogs, my experience sitting for friends, neighbors, and Rover clients, I have experience with a diverse array of breeds, ages, behaviors, and special needs. Your dog’s safety and well-being is my ultimate priority. Treat your dog to a safe, loving, and attentive experience and enjoy your time away with confidence. Macey took wonderful care of our dog Mochi during our trip. She kept us updated regularly and gave us great peace of mind while we were away.
