I’m Macey, a fifth-generation Angeleno with a lifelong love for Los Angeles, animals, and especially all of the wonderful pets who call this city home. ❤️ I’ve been caring for animals for more than 15 years, including dogs, cats, birds, and turtles. I believe great pet care starts with patience, attentiveness, and taking the time to understand each animal’s unique personality, routine, and needs. I’m naturally calm, gentle, and observant, and I know how important it is for pets to feel safe and comfortable in someone else’s care. Whether your pet is energetic and playful, shy and cautious, a total cuddle bug, or somewhere in between, I’ll meet them where they are and give them the individualized care they need. ♿️ Experience with Disabled & Senior Pets: I have experience caring for senior pets as well as dogs with mobility limitations and specialized bathroom needs. During a 1.5-week in-home pet-sitting stay, I cared for two Dachshunds who used wheelchairs and required assistance with urination and bowel movements. Following their owners’ established care instructions, I carefully assisted with bladder expression three times daily to help them fully relieve themselves while maintaining their hygiene, comfort, and dignity. I’m also comfortable caring for senior pets who may need a slower pace, additional mobility support, more frequent potty breaks, or simply a little extra patience. My own beloved dog is now 14, so I understand firsthand the special attention older pets deserve. I’m happy to follow detailed instructions and communicate closely with pet parents about their pet’s routines, preferences, mobility, and individual needs. 🌳 A Little About My Home & Neighborhood: I live in beautiful Toluca Lake, just minutes from Universal Studios, in a cozy and comfortable home with a lovely garden downstairs. There’s also a park just one minute from my home that I regularly visit with my own rescue pup, Bella. We love our neighborhood walks and getting some fresh air together! As a lifelong Angeleno and local to Toluca Lake, I’m especially excited to care for pets throughout the neighborhood and surrounding areas.
