Please let me know about your dog’s temperament, energy level, potty habits, any anxiety triggers (separation or loud noise), and how they interact with other dogs and children. Also, I’d love to know how often you’d like updates. I’m happy to send photos or messages as much—or as little—as you like. Since we are a family home with a resident dog, it’s important that visiting dogs are comfortable around both.

A typical day starts with a morning potty break and set food and water out. I work from home, so I keep a dog bed and toys in my home office. My dog hangs out there during the day. Throughout the day, dogs have access to the yard, out side my office door, and short play sessions to avoid boredom (like throw ball down the hall). Sometimes I take walks during my lunch. Once my daughter gets home from school, she plays with our dog: running around the house or with her toys. In the evenings, and on weekends, dogs enjoy more active playtime and family interactions. This is where they might stay home alone for 1-2 hours, if my daughter has practice.
