An enthusiastic animal lover!
Growing up with several dogs I learned to appreciate the deep connection that animals provide from an early age. I have years of experience walking dogs (multiples included), boarding dogs at my home for family members and friends, and going on lengthy and level appropriate hikes with dogs. I love creating a welcoming environment for pets to have a comfortable experience away from their humans. :) I am available all mornings until 8:30 am for your early pet walking needs, and can board dogs at my home at any time during the week or weekends. I get off work in the afternoon and can provide playtime, feeding, and exercise around Asheville and specifically in the large city park next to my home. I am very comfortable crating dogs if requested. I do believe it creates a comfortable environment for them, but it is not required for them to stay with me. I do not have a fenced yard and they will be walked on a leash using the harness/leash requested and provided by the owner.

Mabel is our GO-TO dog sitter when we can't bring our fur baby with on trips. Our 7 year old Staffordshire Terrier mix absolutely adores Mabel and enjoys spending time with her when we're away. Our little girl has a very structured routine and also takes some medicine daily for her allergies. Mabel has been wonderful in maintaining those routines and daily regimens without skipping a beat. Mabel is reliable and very respectful of our wishes and is a pro with our doggy. Our fur baby gets excited every time she sees Mabel and because of that we know our girl is well taken care of. Book with confidence. You won't be disappointed and your pets will make a new human friend that they will love like family. :)
Mabel is a true animal lover! She is devoted to her own cats and often takes care of other dogs and cats for friends and family. She is incredibly responsible, interactive, and affectionate with all of them. She plays with them, exercises them, takes them on adventures, etc. I not only trust her to take good care of my dog Sissy Bear but I know that Sissy Bear will have a fabulous time with her!! You could not find a better dog sitter than Mabel!
Mabel is the best! From babysitting human babies to pet babies, she is utterly responsible and trustworthy. She will treat your pets like they are her own. Our dogs and cats love her and don't even miss us when we are gone. I cannot recommend her highly enough.
Mabel took excellent care of my dog for four days while I was out of town! She was very attentive to instructions and gave me daily updates. I felt very comfortable with my pet in her care. Will definitely use her services again in the future.
