I’ve lived with cats and dogs since childhood. As an adult I had two animals with chronic and terminal illnesses (one cat, one dog) for which I was the primary care giver. I’m comfortable with cats and dogs of all ages and sizes, and also comfortable with giving medications as directed. I have about 15 years experience being the primary caregiver for my own pets. Currently I have an 8 year old pitbull husky mix named Blueberry (cat, dog, and human friendly)! I love going for long walks (allowing pups to sniff to their hearts content) and I’m always open to hanging out at your house to provide care in the comfort of your pets own home. I have some experience training Blueberry so I’m happy to pass along what I’ve learned! I’m excited to meet you and your pet (: I use they & she pronouns. Born & raised in Boston. My day job is organizing workers in a labor union, ensuring they can build power to secure strong workplace protections. A lot of my work history has focused on engaging community around public health initiatives. The work I do can often be done from many places and doesn’t keep me away from home often, so I have a good deal of flexibility.

Lyv completely saved me when another dogsitter cancelled. She clearly knows dogs and asked all the right questions, and my pup Summer immediately took to her. Lyv communicated really well, texting me beforehand to confirm when she would arrive, again when she arrived, sending photo updates, etc. throughout the whole week. I could even tell from the photos that Summer was really comfortable and not stressed at all, which was confirmed when I came home and she was 100% normal as if I'd never been gone. Would definitely book Lyv again!
Lyv was a great sitter for our dog. Blueberry was a good pal, and Lyv did a great job asking questions when needed and sharing updates with us about our dog. We’d recommend Lyv and would definitely use her again!

Lyv and their husband are lovely people. They are communicative and understanding, and our dog Juniper is always happy to see them. Their dog Blueberry gets along well with other dogs, and we have been very happy both times we have had Lyv watch Juniper!
