I am currently between jobs as my contract just ended, so I currently have flexibility for summer and fall bookings. I am able to come by for daily walks and can pop by last minute if you're running home late from work- feel free to connect with me! I am also available for pet sitting.

Safety, trust & environment
I plan to connect in depth with each pet parent to learn more about how I can best care for your pet. Be it allergen awareness, behavioral considerations, safety notes, or just learning more about how your dog likes to be rewarded or blow off steam- I will be ready to listen and take notes.
Information Lyss L. would like to know about your pet
I would love to know more about your dogs energy levels, their training cues and commands that they know and/or are working on, their meal and/or potty break schedule, safety notes such as allergies and reactivity, and a low down on all the things your doggie loves! Treats, where they like to be pet, how they like to spend their time, etc. Anything that can help us have the best time together.
A typical day
I plan to structure a typical day around the types of things your dog enjoys most. Are they most comfy at home on the couch, watching a nature documentary? We can do that! Do they love burning off energy chasing a ball or making new friends at the dog park? I know some awesome places we could go such as Rohr Park that have a fun, chill vibe. Do they prefer a low key game of fetch in the back yard, or just some low key sunning? I am here for that too! Ultimately I aim to give your pup a fun and relaxing time, whatever that looks like for them.

Pet care experience
Hello! My name is Lyss (they/them) and I am from San Diego, and most recently have worked for an LGBTQ+ non-profit as well as several different roles in public education. I have grown up around all kinds of dogs my whole life and consider myself a canine cuddle enthusiast and pup enrichment director (according to my dog Boba). I am well versed in the ins and outs of caring for dogs and puppies of all ages, and well as more mature pups, and all fur babies in between. I am very comfortable around dogs of all sizes and breeds, reactive or non-reactive, etc. I would be happy to make a game plan with you about how to best care for your four legged fur baby.
