A caring home away from home
We’re two dog lovers and former dog parents who are working from home, and caring for dogs is an important part of our life and something we love, especially after we had to say goodbye to our 18 year old furry life companion. With years of experience in looking after dogs of different breeds, ages, and characters, we offer a safe, loving, fun and engaging home-away-from-home for your pup.

Lysimachos & co were great! They were very kind to take a last minute daycare booking, and were very communicative and helpful. Their flat and garden was lovely, and Shiloh seemed very happy when I picked her up.
Absolutely incredible from top to bottom. Really kind people who clearly know and love dogs. My wife and I kept saying our pups were probably getting more attention while we were gone than when we were home! The updates while we were away were great and gave us total peace of mind. We’ll definitely be back. Couldn’t recommend them more.
Excellent as always, highly highly recommend Lys and their partner for anyone needing pet boarding or sitting. They take amazing care of my energetic poodle each time and it's obvious my poodle enjoys his time with them.
Phoebe came back happy after her day out. Io was very pleasant and helpful. Will definitely leave Phoebe here again.
Jarvis had a great time chilling on the sofa. Everything about his stay was great, good communication and very helpful.
Lysimachos and his partner were excellent caretakers of my energetic poodle while I was away for a week - they were very communicative, proactive, and sent lots of pictures! 10/10 experience and I will be looking to book with them again.

Schedule
One or both of us will always work from home, so your dog will not be left alone. We are able to do frequent walks and toilet breaks. We live a 10min walk from large parks (Pilrig Park, St. Mark’s Park, Calton Hill, London Road gardens, and Water of Leith) and gated gardens (Hopetoun Crescent, Gayfield Square), so your dog will get plenty of outdoor time, play, socialising, and exercise. We also have two lovely private gardens we use a lot for all of us to hang out together. We are able and confident to adjust activities for age and behaviour.

We're confident in administering all types of medication, and are familiar with various dietary needs (GI, renal, older dogs, restrictions) and feeding routines. Whether your dog has special requirements or just needs lots of cuddles, we've got it covered. We love playing, walking, and bonding with each dog we care for, and we treat them like part of our family. We know how important it is to feel confident when leaving your dog in someone else's care - we have been through that ourselves - and we’re committed to providing a dependable, personalised, and loving experience. We can’t wait to meet your pup!
A typical day
We love spending time at the garden altogether when the weather allows for it, playing a lot of games and visiting local parks to enjoy the smells and nature.
