Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine! I work full-time remotely, which gives me the flexibility to schedule visits throughout the day. I also babysit my niece and nephew twice a week, but I always make sure to plan my pet care visits around those times. I’m available early in the morning, during my lunch break, and after work, so I can provide consistent, timely care.

Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or in a client’s home, my approach is the same: create a calm, loving, and safe environment where your pet feels comfortable and secure. I follow any instructions closely and stick to your pet’s usual routine as much as possible — including feeding times, potty breaks, walks, playtime, and any medication needs. In your home, I’m respectful of your space and keep things clean and tidy. I make sure your pet feels cared for, not just watched. I give them plenty of attention, snuggles (if they want them!), and engagement. I also send regular updates with photos so you always know how your pet is doing. If caring for pets in my own home, I make sure it’s a safe and welcoming space. My pets — Honey, Gigi, and Callie — are well-socialized, and I always do a slow, supervised introduction to make sure everyone gets along comfortably. I monitor all interactions closely to ensure an stress-free environment.

A typical day
It really depends on the pet’s personality, energy level, and what they enjoy! For dogs, I love going on walks, playing fetch, tug-of-war, or just spending time outside getting fresh air and exercise. If they’re more relaxed, we’ll enjoy cuddle time, gentle play, or puzzle toys for mental stimulation. For cats, I bring out the toys — feather wands, laser pointers, and anything that gets them curious and moving! I also give them plenty of quiet time and affection (on their terms, of course). Whether it’s playtime, belly rubs, or just sitting together for company, I always make sure pets feel loved, engaged, and safe while you’re away. Every visit is tailored to what makes your pet happy!

As a lifelong animal lover with 5 years of professional experience caring for pets of all shapes and sizes, I know how important it is to find someone you can trust to look after your furry family members. Whether it's daily walks, drop-in visits, or overnight stays, I treat every pet like they're my own — with love, patience, and plenty of playtime! At home, I’m a proud pet parent to two dogs, Honey (2) and Gigi (7), and one sassy cat named Callie (4). They’ve taught me so much about different pet personalities, needs, and the importance of creating a calm, loving environment. I’m experienced with dogs and cats of all ages, breeds, and personalities. From high-energy pups to shy senior kitties, I’m attentive to each pet’s unique needs. I’m also CPR/First Aid certified for pets and can administer medications if needed. Reliable communication, timely updates, and lots of photos are part of the experience when your pet is in my care. Lyrik has been an amazing and flexible friend for my old cat while I travel for business. My cat loves her and requires extra attention because she’s old and needs regular meds. Lyrik had to help my cat with an unexpected health complication while I was out of town. She was proactive and helped get her the care she needed. Lyrik has made my travel schedule less stressful - highly recommend!
Lyrik has on several occasions looked after my two dogs and she has done a great job. She followed our directions perfectly and even took them on some bonus walks. My dogs love her.
