Pet care experience

play dates with your fur babies!

What sets me apart is that I’ve had dogs my whole life. By the time I was 10, I was fully handling daily care like feeding, walks, grooming, and vet visits. I also started training puppies at that age and gained experience working with different breeds and personalities. Because of that background, I’m confident caring for puppies, adult dogs, and seniors who need extra patience. I focus on understanding each dog’s needs and making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for.

Pets

Safety, trust & environment

When I’m caring for pets in a client’s home, I follow their usual routine as closely as possible. I handle feeding, walks, playtime, cleaning bowls, and any specific instructions the owner leaves. I make sure the home stays tidy, the pet stays comfortable, and their schedule stays consistent. If I’m caring for a pet in my own home, I create a calm, safe space for them with plenty of attention, potty breaks, and play. I keep their feeding and exercise routine steady and check in often to make sure they’re relaxed and adjusting well. In both settings, I focus on clear communication, reliability, and making sure each pet feels secure and cared for.

Schedule

Pet care fits easily into my routine because I’m a full-time college student with classes only one day a week. This gives me plenty of open time throughout the week for check-ins, walks, feedings, and consistent communication. I’m also able to respond quickly in case of emergencies or last-minute needs. My schedule is flexible, so I can make pets a priority and give them the attention they need.

Before I care for any pet, I like to know their routine, energy level, and any quirks that make them unique. It is especially helpful to know their feeding schedule, favorite toys or activities, health concerns, medications, and any behaviors to watch for, like anxiety triggers, reactivity, or how they do around other animals. I also ask about house rules, crate routines, and what helps them feel safe and comfortable. The more I learn ahead of time, the better I can make sure their care feels familiar, stress free, and tailored to their needs.
