I have been a high school teacher for 26 years. I dog-sit for my friends and sister all the time, and even for my friend's cat sometimes too! I also used to dog-sit for my parents' dog for 2-3 months while they were away over the winters, but unfortunately Mollie passed away a few years ago. She was 17 and we spoiled her! I grew up with dogs (poodles) and I love animals so I thought this would be a fun way to earn extra money! I really enjoy dog sitting, and have been doing this for about 9 years now and I look forward to meeting your pup!

Lynette was absolutely wonderful to work with. She proactively offered a meet and greet, which instantly gave us confidence that our boy would be in good hands. She’s extremely friendly and was open and transparent about her schedule from the start. I really appreciated how she took the time to ask questions about his routine to help keep him on track, and even checked in before taking him along to places she was planning to go that weekend. Communication was clear throughout, with photo and status updates that kept us at ease. Drop-off and pick-up were both a breeze. We’d happily book with Lynette again!

Lynnette came came through in a pinch, when I need a sitter last minute. She was great with Bentley and he clearly was comfortable with her. She clearly understand dogs unique personalities and various needs. She provided regular updates and quick to respond when I reached out. I will def be asking her again to watch Bentley.

Schedule
I work full time and am away from my home from 7:15-3:30 during the week. Weekends I am either home or in and out throughout the day, but have plenty of time in the evenings or on the weekends to go for long walks with the dog or even a hike if they are up for it!

I usually take the dogs for about 3-4 walks a day, usually at least one longer walk! I also can relax and sit on the couch with the dog too, and give lots of belly rubs, of course!
A typical day
There are a lot of sidewalks and some trails near my house that I can walk your dog! I enjoy going for long walks, and having a 4-legged friend to do it with is motivational! Lol!
