Safety, trust & environment
I will always be respectful of your home, and do everything I can to help your pet feel safe with me in their territory. It is important to remember that it can stress them out to meet a stranger while their person/people have gone off to parts unknown, and I keep that in mind when I go in to provide care. Your home will always be left as neat as possible when I walk out the door.
Information Lynne F. would like to know about your pet
Please let me know if your pets have any unusual behaviors or fears (for instance, if your dog is very scared of fireworks and I'm watching your dog over July 4, that is very helpful to know so I can prepare).
A typical day
If your cat or dog is very active and wants to play or go for a walk, I am happy to wear them out (I walk my own cat and love taking animals for walks generally). I will still try to play with or walk less active animals, just for their own health, but will never force it or try to go outside of what their physical ability permits.

Pet care experience
I've taken care of dogs, cats, and birds throughout my life, and have worked with senior dogs and cats and animals with health issues (such as severe hip dysplasia, blindness, and arthritis). I have a particular love of senior animals and love to give them the extra help they need, but I am happy to work with pets of any age and temperament. I always take as much time as is needed to provide everything the pet owner prefers -- I will never just walk in, fill up the bowl and take the dog outside for 3 minutes and then leave. Your pet will get the care and attention they need, whether that looks like a long walk, lots of belly rubs, or just sitting in the same room together while I tell them how beautiful and perfect they are.

Reviews

Lynne had excellent communication, attention to detail, exemplary care and consideration from start to finish of the service. Lynne followed the provided directions very well and provided us detailed updates with pictures, while taking the time to provide Willow comfort. Lynne’s level of professionalism, compassion, and reliability gave us complete peace of mind while we were away. She went above and beyond what was asked in her care for Willow, and even brought in a package that had delivered prior to her arrival. We would absolutely recommend Lynne to anyone looking for a trustworthy and attentive pet sitter, and we will book with her again in the future.
Lynne did a wonderful job taking care of my 3 cats while I was on vacation for 2 weeks. My semi feral cat even came to her for petting :) She followed all the feeding and care instructions perfectly. I certainly would recommend her if you need a reliable cat loving person to care for your cats while you’re away :)
