Sleepy Pooch Guest House is Awesome
My love for animals started at a young age; always the one to bring home the stray dog. From the wild to the domestic, I am a true animal advocate. I recognize that dogs have evolved into unique and intelligent beings, deserving of the same respect as any member of the household. I strive to assure you feel at ease knowing that your beloved pet is well taken care of in a safe and secure environment. Daily pics sent via email or text are provided. A plan for your pooch's stay at my Guest House will be tailored to your dog's individual personality, behavioral patterns, and owner preferences. If your pet needs 24/7 supervision, please inquire about availability before booking your reservation. A convenient location, we have a large shaded and fenced back yard for little dogs to explore and romp. Medium-sized pooches can be accompanied on walks around the pet-friendly neighborhood. A comfy bed awaits your pup for a sound night's sleep.

We have used a few local sitters from Rover and Lynn, her home, her yard, and the new doggie friends were the absolute best. Lynn met all expectations and more. Safety, trust & environment
All pets have their own preference. When boarding at Sleepy Pooch, pets are well supervised. Frequent outdoor activity is offered in a large fenced back yard. Larger dogs can be walked daily, if desired. Your loved one can sleep in the bedroom, alone in a kennel, or with the host’s pooch if he/she prefers. For pets who prefer to stay home, your host assures security of your property when entering and exiting. A mask will be worn at all times while inside your home. I assess the situation to identify any housekeeping issues that need to be addressed to keep your pet and home safe while you are away. Any mail or packages are brought inside. Cat boxes will be thoroughly cleaned at all times. Rest assured that I will take responsibility for your pet as if he/she is one of my own family members. DOG WALKING NOTE. Please have doggy leashed and ready to pick up for their walk. If your request involves entering the home or property to retrieve and prep the dog for a walk, select “Drop-in Visit” and add a note to request a walk during the visit. —Proof of current unexpired rabies vaccination is required for all pets—

A typical day
I have done this for years. Simply visiting another home and being loved is a fun activity. Each time we go to the back yard is an exciting trip. Early AM, an exciting breakfast service awaits your pet. Then chill, some more love, conversation with your pet, a walk if desired, a few more trips out back, then its dinner time!
