I find it is best to care for your pet in their own home when you are away for an overnight. I am very respectful of your home, I am quiet, neat and clean. For overnights, my 12 lb Shih Tzu dog, Ava, MUST be able to come with me. Ava is a certified AKC Good Citizen and a certified support dog. Ava is very friendly, gentle and easy going. She is excellent around senior dogs. Special care - If your dog is not able go up stairs I can either carry them upstairs at night (depending on their size) or put a gate at the bottom of the stairs to keep them safe. I can administer medication, if needed.

I like to know their regular schedule so I can keep them consistent and this helps your pet feel more relaxed as well. Do not worry if your dog is picky, needs medication, or is a senior dog or has special needs. I have experience and can handle it with your detailed instructions. Are they an escape artist or have a certain routine with their daily life. What commands do they know? Any health issues? Do they have any food aggression that I need to be concerned about - especially if there is another dog in your home. I have extensive experience and will take great care of your fur baby.
A typical day
I love walking dogs in neighborhoods and nearby walking paths or nature so they can check out all of the smells. I will play with them and can throw balls and toys for them. My 12 lb. Shih Tzu loves other dogs and is very happy to play and share toys. We will play games to stimulate their mind and of course lots of snuggle time.

Whether your dog is a playful puppy, active adult or a senior dog who need medication and extra patience, I have extensive experience to provide the care your dog deserves. I was part of a group of 25 volunteers that started a dog rescue and I have personally fostered 37 dogs in addition to growing up around animals of all kinds and sizes. I have trained dogs, experience with dog agility training and I am excellent with puppies, senior dogs and those needing special care. One of my fostered needed to have multiple surgeries, PT and even wheels at one point. I am very patient and loving. I believe our pets are family and I will treat your pet as if it was my own. So you do not have to worry when you are away. I will send you photos and updates daily. I can t wait to meet your fur baby. Note: For house-sitting when you want me to stay overnight, your pet must be dog friendly since my 12 lbs Shih Tzu will need to stay over night with me. My dog is super friendly.
