With decades of hands-on experience caring for dogs, including personally fostering 37 dogs through rescue, I am comfortable with everything from energetic puppies to seniors, anxious dogs and pets requiring special care or medication. My goal is simple: to keep your pet safe, comfortable and on their normal routine while giving you complete peace of mind while you’re away. For overnight house sitting, I understand that you’re trusting me with much more than your pet. You’re also trusting me with your home. I am quiet, tidy, respectful and attentive to the details of your household, and I provide regular communication and photos so you can enjoy your time away without wondering how things are going. My experience includes puppies, senior dogs, rescue dogs, special-needs pets and dogs who need patience when meeting someone new. I can administer oral and injected medications and am trained in pet First Aid/CPR. I have also worked with dog training and agility and understand the importance of maintaining the routines and boundaries your dog already knows. For overnight stays, my 12-lb Shih Tzu, Ava, accompanies me, so your dog must be comfortable with another small dog. Ava is an AKC Canine Good Citizen with a calm, gentle temperament and is particularly good with senior dogs. Before your first booking, I like to understand your pet’s normal schedule, feeding and exercise routine, medications, commands, personality and any behavioral concerns. The more I know about what is normal for your pet, the easier it is for me to keep things familiar and comfortable while you’re away.

Safety, trust & environment
I find it is best to care for your pet in their own home when you are away for an overnight. I am very respectful of your home, I am quiet, neat and clean. For overnights, my 12 lb Shih Tzu dog, Ava, will accompany me. Ava is a certified AKC Good Citizen. Ava is very friendly, gentle and easy going. She is excellent around senior dogs. Special care - If your dog is not able go up stairs I can either carry them upstairs at night (depending on their size) or put a gate at the bottom of the stairs to keep them safe. I can administer medication, if needed.

My schedule is flexible, allowing me to accommodate your pet’s routine or medication schedule. Caring for animals is something I enjoy and feel passionate about.

- I like to know their regular schedule so I can keep them consistent and this helps your pet feel more relaxed as well. Do not worry if your dog is picky, needs medication, or is a senior dog or has special needs. I have experience and can handle it with your detailed instructions. Are they an escape artist or have a certain routine with their daily life. What commands do they know? Any health issues? Do they have any food aggression that I need to be concerned about - especially if there is another dog in your home. I have extensive experience and will take great care of your fur baby.
