I worked from home so I set my own hours. This allows me to be very flexible when it comes to dropping by to check on fur babies or providing more individual time for play or walks when pet-sitting.

I rely heavily on the instructions left for me so that I can properly provide the necessary care for the clients and the pets to be happy. This may including being vigilant about pet gates, furniture, or rooms not accessible to the pets. I always keep human food out of reach and/or out of sight when I have to leave fur babies alone for any reason. I like knowing the quirks or needs of animals (example: doesn't like paws touched, needs a lot of affection before leaving the space, must sleep in the bed with sitter to not get anxious, needs medication before bed or with food).

A typical day
I enjoy hiking in walnut creek and taking dogs on long walks around the neighborhood - usually an hour to an an hour and a half. I also enjoy cuddling up with a movie or a book.

I'm very affectionate and playful but I tend to provide neck massages to dogs that they love and can stay in one spot for long periods of time when giving kitties pets and attention. I am experienced in providing medications and assistance up and down stairs, sofas, or into cars.

Would highly recommend Lynn to housesit for your animal!! She is super communicative and took great care of our sweet but rambunctious dog, even going as far as working on training with him :) We booked her last minute and were so grateful for her wonderful care!

Lynn is wonderful! Our dog is reactive to strangers but Lynn knew how to calmly introduce herself and before we knew it, her and our dog were best buds. She was very communicative and went above and beyond in taking care of our dog and our home while we were gone. We feel so lucky to have found her.
