Irene’s Just Like Home Pet Care
I have had dogs and cats in my life for over 50 years. I was so lucky to grow up in a home that was the local Noah’s Arc. This childhood formed my commitment and love to animals. About 20 years ago, I decided to enter the world of pure bred dogs and have been an avid exhibitor and breeder of Pointers and Ridgebacks focused always on good temperaments and health. I love dogs and really believe it’s important that each animal I care for, feels at home, comfortable, pampered, exercised and loved. I have 4 dogs that are super casual and it has been very easy to bring animals into my home. I will only take 1 or 2 dogs at a time, as I want to be able to provide the best care possible for them. Your animals are treated as though they are mine and the care and love they will experience can only be exceeded by you. It’s always stressful for animals to be away from their families, so the more I can do to relieve this stress, the better I feel. I always tease my clients that their dogs may come home a little spoiled. I’m very much available all day really to take care of the dogs as my schedule is very flexible. In addition my brother lives with me and he helps me take care of the dogs. There is always a person at our house while your dog will be visiting. I also offer a military discount for those that have or are serving our beautiful country.

My boys were well loved and cared for!
Our puppers, who has been with our family only a limited time, adapted to the situation of having to be overnight in an unfamiliar home, easily integrated to the environment. Lynn was immediately very responsive and knowledgeable through Rover and is versed in the care of dogs. We were so pleased to know that our anxiously timid pup made himself at home due to the care provided. He showed no signs of separation anxiety, and remained well behaved, and I thank Lynn for that through the communication provided. We would definitely utilize this service again!
I cannot say enough good things about the care Lynn and her brother provided for our sweet girl! I was so nervous to leave Louise for the first time since she’s still a puppy, but they immediately put my mind at ease. While we were away, Louise developed an upset tummy. Lynn kept us updated, fed her chicken and rice, and even offered to take her to the vet if needed. Thankfully, she was feeling much better in no time. As an obsessed dog mom, I really appreciated how knowledgeable, kind, and caring they both were. We loved all the adorable pictures and videos they sent, and it was clear Louise was treated like family. We will absolutely be back to Irene’s Just Like Home Pet Care. ❤️
Lynn was very sweet to our cat Bubba. She made sure to engage him each visit and was very thorough in preparing his snack and probiotic. She sent great updates for us everyday. We will for sure book her again!
Lynn is the best sitter. She has a huge fenced front and backyard and 4 great loving dogs. Her 4 dogs added our 2 dogs to their family. My dogs had a great time. She always shares videos and pics of them playing together. One of the best experiences i have had. Will be definitely giving our pups to Lynn whenever we go our of town.
Extremely happy with the care and attention JoJo received from Lynn. He had so much fun playing with her friendly dogs. And she kept me updated on Jojos daily antics with photos, videos and reports 😄. Lynn is an experienced dog person. I had absolutely no hesitation she could confidently handle anything that could possibly arise whilst I was out of town. It’s nice to know that someone is not only taking good care of your dog, but is actually enjoying them being there. 10/10 recommend, and will be back for sure!

I do not work outside of the home, which provides me with a lot of flexibility to provide dedicated care to your pets all day.

I think it's important dogs that stay at my house receive the same amount of attention as they would at home and as my dogs do. I also believe it's important not to disrupt their daily routine, so I work closely with owners to understand each Dog needs.

My dogs are extremely welcoming to visitors, resulting in a lot of play and relaxation. I have two fenced in dog yards attached to the house, one in the front and one in the back.. I’m always outside when the dogs go out, and never leave them unattended
