Hi! 👋 We are a husband and wife team: Rob and Lyndsey. We live in SE Portland. Pets who board or do doggy daycare with us (we can only accommodate one other pet at a time) will enjoy the company of our ~55 lb pit bull Maribel who loves everyone. We live in a house with a fenced in back yard. A nearby park is great for walks, too. We will make sure to follow any and all checklists provided by owners for the best possible care for their pet(s). For the safety of our dog, any pets that come into our home need to be up to date on vaccinations and treated for fleas. We have a two-night minimum stay for boarding, and cannot accept drop-offs after 4pm Fridays; or after 1pm on Saturdays and Sundays. Pickups should be made during the day between 9am and 6pm.

Lyndsey, Rob, and Maribel are just wonderful with our dog! He has separation anxiety but you can tell he’s been a happy dog when he returns from a week with them. He gets lots of walks and Maribel is very patient with him. We’ve used them several times and will do so again.
Houie had a great stay with Robert & Lyndsey! He loved his long walks with Maribel, hanging out in the backyard and playing with toys in the house. We got daily updates too!

I highly recommend Lyndsey, Robert and Maribel to take care of your dog! My 6 year old rescue pit mix had never been at a sitter’s before and has separation anxiety and is always apprehensive about other dogs. He felt very comfortable with them right away and quickly became friends with their own sweet dog who gave him plenty of space to feel comfortable with her. We had an unexpected illness and had to extend our trip at the last minute from 6 nights to 9 and they were so wonderful about keeping him as long as we needed. We got pictures and updates daily and I could see he was very content. We’ll definitely be asking them to watch our dog again!

Schedule
We take daily walks around the neighborhood and work in backyard playtime with fetch. Let us know if you are comfortable with your dog traveling with us outside of the home (in a vehicle) for walks at other parks around town.

Safety, trust & environment
Your pet will be monitored for safety and emotional well being while in our care. Dogs or cats boarding or doing daycare with us stay in our home. Doggies or kitties used to sleeping with their owner are welcome to sleep with us too. We both love walking dogs together and will care for your pet like they are our own.

We know how important it is for animals to be stimulated and get regular exercise. We will use provided toys (and our own), and take them on walks so they can explore nature.
