I work for myself so I am home often and usually only away for short bursts or for my social calendar. I take long walks and jogs along the water in my neighbourhood, which is centrally located.

Information Lydia V. would like to know about your pet
I am very comfortable with large and giant breed dogs, but of course I have love for all sizes! I have understanding of behaviours, so shy and reactive dogs don’t need to worry. I also work a flexible schedule so they will have LOTS of access to me and the outdoors.
A typical day
It’s important that dogs in my care have consistency and a routine to ease their blues while you’re away! Every pet is different and their needs are met in various ways. I like to spend time outside so there’s always lots to see and smell!

Pet care experience
I’ve always had pets, I worked at the local shelter for years and in vet clinics before that! Very comfortable with large breed dogs. Ok to handle some behaviour issues.

Lydia helped me out with a very last minute booking, got my dog out for a great walk. Great find.
Lydia was awesome! She managed our anxious new rescue bully with ease. Buddy took to her immediately and despite him having some separation issues, he was totally fine with her. She got him out for walks and generally improved his overall emotional state. We were highly anxious about having to leave him so soon after getting him and she made it seem easy. She was a perfect houseguest as well. We certainly look forward to having her stay with Buddy in the future.
Tika and Lydia connected instantly, and it was clear from the very beginning that Lydia has an excellent understanding of dog care. She is responsible, attentive, and genuinely committed to making pets feel safe and comfortable. Lydia took wonderful care of our dog, and her calm, caring presence made a noticeable difference.
This was my first time leaving my dogs with anyone. I booked last minute and Lydia was very accommodating to make the booking easy. I have 2 large dogs, German Shepard mix, and was a little nervous leaving them., They can be reactive together. Lydia was great. Her experience in the past working with Dogs shows. Shes was excellent with my boys, had zero issues. She was responsive, sent updates, and I strong recommend her to anyone looking. You will be happy you did
