Reliable, Caring Dog Sitter
I’ve been brought up with dogs my whole life, including Old English Sheepdogs, Labradors, and rescue dogs, and I currently have three family dogs. I’ve also looked after many friends’ dogs, including Shih Tzus, Whippets, and rescue dogs from Hungary. I’m experienced with both male and female dogs, from puppies to older dogs, and I’m confident caring for a wide range of breeds, personalities, and needs. My priority is always making sure dogs feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for.

Lydia was absolutely wonderful with Monty. She was incredibly responsive from the very beginning, easy to communicate with, and made the whole arrangement feel seamless. It was immediately clear to me that she genuinely loves dogs and has years of experience. She is a natural. Calm, confident, and completely at ease, which in turn made Monty feel comfortable straight away. She took Monty out for a walk and he came back happy and settled, and very much on his best behaviour, which says everything. It is always reassuring to see your puppy respond so positively to someone. I would wholeheartedly recommend Lydia to anyone looking for a reliable, experienced and truly dog loving sitter.
Crumpet had a lovely time with Lydia. Lydia was super friendly, communicative and clearly great with dogs. Crumpet actually didn’t want to leave when I picked her up. Lydia sent photos throughout the day which put our mind at ease and I’d trust her 100% with Crumpet again.
I am very grateful to Lydia for looking after Honey so well. She has just slept off the lovely long walk she was taken on in Crystal Palace. We shall definitely book with Lydia again and strongly recommend her to anyone looking for a kind and caring dog sitter.
Lydia always does a fantastic job looking after Shugie and we felt confident leaving her with Lydia from day one. She was great at communicating and regularly sent updates and photos, which we really appreciated. Shugie clearly adores her — she was calm, happy and very well cared for when we returned home. It was obvious she’d had plenty of exercise, attention and affection. Lydia is dependable, kind and genuinely attentive to dogs’ individual needs. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Lydia to other pet owners and will definitely be using her again! 🐶✨

Schedule
I work full time in a hybrid role, which gives me a lot of flexibility day to day. I’m able to plan my schedule around pet care, including walks, feeding, playtime, and companionship. I’m also able to take dogs with me to work if needed, so they’re never left alone for long. Pet care fits naturally into my routine, and I make sure each dog gets the time and attention they need.

Safety, trust & environment
In my home, dogs have a calm, safe environment with a fully secure, fenced garden for outdoor time. I live just off the road, with a gate directly outside my front door and steps leading down to the road, which adds an extra layer of security. I supervise garden time and make sure doors and gates are always secure.
A typical day
Will play and look after your dogs, and give them the love and attention they need 😊 I am really confident with dogs, and happy to walk, run and play with them!
