Information Lydia S. would like to know about your pet

Let me know if your dog has any special care needs before hand. I value transparency on any behavioral issues you have noticed that I may want to keep in mind for their and my safety, as well as transparency on any health concerns, even as small as a scratch, again for their safety!

A typical day

I can take dogs on walks or hikes. Play any game (fetch, tug of war, etc) they like to play. They will receive plenty of cuddle time if that’s how they prefer to have fun.

Pet care experience

I have had pets my entire life. I have experience raising, pet sitting, handling, and training dogs from birth (pet sitting litters of puppies) all the way through seniors. For 5 years I was a manager and trainer at a dog training facility where I taught puppy manners, basic commands, confidence building for nervous dogs, and management for aggression related issues. I also have over a year of experience managing a dog and cat daycare and boarding facility. I am a certified PetTech CPR and First Aid instructor as well. I have 2 very friendly dogs of my own who always welcome new friends. I am open to housing dogs at my own house, taking care of them at your house, walking them, helping with basic manners, or getting them out to play.

Very patient and understanding with our buddy Moose. We were so worried leaving him for the first time and she was very responsive and sent the cutest pictures. Do not hesitate to use!!!

Lydia is awesome! My sitter canceled on me last minute. I was out of options. I tried the app for the first time and found Lydia who was within 5 minutes of my house. She was nice enough to except my booking last minute and save my weekend plans. She kept me posted throughout the weekend and answered me within 20 minutes when ever I wanted to check in. Winston seemed to have a great weekend hanging out with her and her pets. He was worn out and slept great when I got him home. I will definitely try to book with Lydia again when I need a sitter in the future. Fantastic experience for Winston and me!
