At home, I ensure my anxious dog feels secure by maintaining a predictable routine, providing a quiet space to retreat when overwhelmed, and using calming techniques such as soothing music, gentle reassurance, and interactive toys. These experiences have helped me develop a deep empathy for dogs with unique needs, which I apply when caring for other people’s pets. I am attentive to each dog’s behavior, ensuring they feel relaxed and comfortable, whether through structured activities, gentle walks, or simply offering a calming presence. My goal is always to prioritize their emotional and physical well-being.

We had our first Rover experience and it was amazing! Lydia started us off with a meet and greet before we booked! She asked lots of questions about our animals habits and preferences. Once our pet sitting responsibilities began, she was in daily contact with us about our pets' activities. Pictures were sent every day. We were absolutely delighted with how well Lydia bonded with our animals and how thoughtful she was about their care! Thank you, Lydia! You are awesome!

Lydia took wonderful care of my cats and my home while I was away. It meant so much to know they had someone kind and attentive with them, especially since I work from home and they’re used to having someone present most of the day. My girl Kiki has very high anxiety and needs daily medication, which can sometimes be challenging, but Lydia handled this with so much patience and care. She made sure Kiki received her medication consistently and approached her in such a calm, loving way. What I appreciated most was the genuine affection she gave all of them. She spent quality time with the cats, giving them attention, comfort, and companionship so they could feel relaxed and cared for while I was gone. Having her in the home made it feel much closer to their normal routine. Lydia was also very kind and thoughtful with my mom, who lives with me, always interacting with her in such a warm and respectful way. It created a very comfortable environment for everyone in the home. When I returned, the house was incredibly clean and tidy, especially around the litter box areas, which I really appreciated. It was clear she had taken great care of both the cats and the space. Lydia is kind, thoughtful, and clearly cares deeply about animals. She brings a very loving and generous energy to the work she does, and I’m grateful my cats were in her care.
Lydia is an absolute rock star pet sitter! 🐾⭐️ She stepped in and took amazing care of our girl in such a short amount of time. Lydia made sure she got a nice walk, was fed, and followed every single instruction exactly as we directed. It’s clear she’s incredibly reliable and truly cares about the pets she looks after. It’s such a relief knowing someone can handle everything so efficiently while still giving our pup the attention she deserves. We felt completely confident leaving our girl in Lydia’s hands.
