I’ve been caring for animals for over 10 years, starting as a teenager when I began pet sitting for family friends and neighbors, and I’ve loved it ever since. My primary experience is caring for dogs and cats of all sizes, ages, and temperaments, from energetic puppies and playful kittens to senior pets who need a slower, more gentle routine. I treat every dog and cat in my care like they’re my own, focusing on their comfort, safety, and happiness while you’re away. I tailor care to each pet’s needs, whether that means walks, playtime, enrichment, structured routines, or quiet companionship. I also have experience administering oral medications and injections when needed. I have additional hands-on experience with small pets and other animals, including birds and reptiles, which has strengthened my overall understanding of animal behavior and care. No matter the pet, I provide reliable, attentive care so they feel secure and well cared for in your absence.

I provide care exclusively in clients’ homes so pets can remain in their familiar, comfortable environment. I prioritize maintaining their normal routines and creating a calm, low-stress presence, and I aim to be as unobtrusive as possible in the home so pets feel safe and at ease while their owners are away.

Over the years, Lydia has been a dependable and trustworthy caregiver and companion to our dog and cat, transitioning their care needs as they aged and developed health issues. She carefully administered medications as prescribed, and followed all of our pets’ routines. She would also research and bring suggestions to us on how to improve the quality of life for our fur babies. She truly has a heart for all animals! Schedule
I’m currently a teacher on summer break and looking forward to spending my days doing something I truly enjoy—caring for animals! My schedule is very flexible, allowing me to provide attentive, consistent pet care throughout the day.
