I try to keep the routine and house rules the same as much as possible so your pet can be as relaxed and confident as possible! I love animals so if they have any special needs or preferences let me know and I will do my best to accommodate that.
Information Lydia O. would like to know about your pet
I’d love it if you could leave me the following so I can take the best care of your pet: - a list of emergency contacts, including your regular vet and an emergency vet - a list of commands/phrases that your pets know - a schedule of your pets’ daily routines - any codes, plant care schedules, etc. that you’d like me to know/do!
A typical day
I try to provide a lot of mental stimulation for pets! For dogs I often try to turn mealtimes into fun search games or puzzle games. I also try to do mini training sessions during the day.

Reviews

Very professional and communicative! Really knows her way around animals and thus can keep an eye on things that this helicopter pet mom really appreciates! Highly recommend.

Dang. I really hate having to leave bad reviews but I feel it's necessary. I fully discussed my requests ahead of booking, mainly time in the kennel. My dog is still a puppy and I asked that he be left in the kennel no more than 4 hours. This was agreed upon and seemed fine. The first day the I flew out it was 7 hours and she only arrived once I mentioned my neighbors were concerned she wasn't there yet. Then I asked that he please be kept in the room at night, I installed a gate if she didn't want the door closed to make it as comfortable as possible. He was left to roam the house all night alone. Again he is a puppy and this can be dangerous for obvious reasons. The next day, he was in his kennel for almost 8 hours. I messaged on the app and didn't get a response for nearly an hour so I just hired someone else (off rover thankfully). Honestly at this point with no communication and being gone so long how am I to know if she's even coming back? I was polite, no hard feelings things just aren't working out the way I or my pet needed them to. Now I am being charged $233 for two nights when the entire 6 night booking was $336. Part of this is on Rover. There is a cancellation fee but why am I the one being penalized. I would have much preferred to not have to stress about the well-being of my pet and go through this, have to find someone else from so far away.

Amazing, as always. We have such peace-of-mind when we go on vacations knowing Lydia will take care of our boys!

Lydia is a sweetheart! My girls absolutely adored her, and she was so good with them. My labs are really large puppies, and she was patient with them and played with them daily to get their energy out. She followed my directions, was excellent at keeping in touch and sending photos, and took care of our home, as well. We will definitely be asking miss Lydia to come back!
