Hello! My name is Lydia, and I have 3 years of experience working in a pet hospital, where I learned how to care for animals of all ages, temperaments, and needs. I also have 4 years of experience on Rover, along with time working for a local pet sitting company. Most of my bookings have been with dogs, and I’m comfortable caring for everything from energetic puppies to senior dogs who need a calmer, more patient approach. I’m patient, attentive, and genuinely enjoy spending time with animals — whether that means walks, playtime, or simply keeping them company while you’re away. I pay close attention to routines and always follow feeding, potty, and medication instructions carefully. I currently work a part-time job with shifts that are typically 4–6 hours long. I’m happy to coordinate schedules in advance and ensure your pet’s needs are met during my time away. Clear communication is very important to me, and I always aim to be transparent about availability so everyone feels comfortable. While I primarily work with dogs, I also have experience caring for cats and am happy to provide drop-ins or companionship for them as well. I treat every pet as if they were my own and always prioritize safety, comfort, and communication. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I focus on keeping their routine normal so they feel relaxed and comfortable. I follow instructions closely for feeding, potty breaks, walks, playtime, and any medications. For house sitting, I provide consistent care and companionship throughout the day. For drop-ins, I make sure each visit includes quality time, whether that’s walks, play, or just hanging out. For dog walks, I pay attention to energy, leash manners, and safety, adjusting each walk to the dog’s needs. I treat every home with respect and keep pet parents updated so they can relax knowing their pets are in good hands.

Amazing! It is our first time using Rover so we were a bit nervous but Lydia gave us peace of mind. Right away our pups felt comfortable with her. She gave us updates and pictures while they were in her care.

Lydia was amazing with our dogs! She constantly gave us updates and sent us pictures of them while we were gone and they even looked ecstatic to have her there in the pictures. Definitely going to be booking her for every trip we take.
Lydia, as always, was great with stopping in to visit with my girls. It’s hard trusting someone to handle my elderly dog’s needs and Lydia is the person I turn to, I know both girls are in good hands and that Lydia is a person the girls love and trust.
