Hello I’m Lydia, and I’m animal crazy! I love all things animals! I have grown up alongside rescue dogs and have been immersed in animal care my entire life. I worked in a veterinary practice for a year and have volunteered with multiple animal rescue organisations, gaining hands-on experience with dogs of all temperaments and backgrounds. My family have dogs that I walk every day, and I also regularly help out a fosterer, supporting them with the care of foster dogs and helping new arrivals settle in and build trust in their environment. I am trusted by family, friends, and others to care for their dogs and cats, and I have pet-sat on many occasions. I regularly take peoples dogs on long walks and genuinely love being outdoors and active, ensuring every animal in my care receives plenty of exercise, attention, and love!

Monty was looked after so well by Lydia and James. He took a couple of days to settle in and I was kept up to date with how he was doing with photos and videos. I am pleased they are able to have Monty again in September 😀🐕. Thank you Lydia and James
Lovely couple. 🌟🌟🌟 Cannot recommend Lydia & James enough. We left our Springer with them for the first time for 4 days and they took such good care of our fur baby! She had the best time. Was taken on lovely daily walks, and doing her favourite thing chasing 🎾. They kept us updated with daily photos and messages which gave us peace of mind. We will definitely use them again 🐶💕 Thank you!! xx
I would have no hesitation in recommending Lydia. My dog is quite anxious but she settled in really quickly. Both Lydia and James treated her with such a lot of love and understanding. I had regular photos and videos which really put my mind at rest and they took her on lots of adventures which she loved. I was so relieved to find someone who would treat her as one of the family. Highly recommend!!!
First time using this app and also leaving our little Leo whilst we were away on holiday. I must say that Lydia and James looked after our pup as if it were their own; they updated us daily on his little adventures at the park and at home with videos and pictures. Comms was great, they got back to us straight away and arranged a meet and greet in their home. Really put our minds at ease so we could enjoy our holiday rather than being worried about our puppy. Thank you both, Will be booking again with Lydia without hesitation.
Hello Lydia is a lovely person adores her family dogs well any dog or animal. I foster dogs for a charity and she has helped me a lot when I have worried scared dogs they all take to her she is always on their leval. Lydia used to look after my old Greyhound on a regular basis. He used to be a mummies boy, but Lydia made him feel at ease and relaxed when I had to leave him sometimes. Lydia is a caring, compassionate and trustworthy individual and her love and care for animals is second to none!

Schedule
I work from home and only occasionally need to go into the office, which allows me to be very flexible. On days I’m needed in the office, my partner, who lives with me, will be at home to take care of them. I am very active and usually go on three walks a day, so dogs in my care receive plenty of exercise and stimulation. When I look after dogs, I treat them exactly as I would want my own family’s dogs to be cared for, with patience, attention, and lots of love. My schedule allows me to easily fit around each animal’s individual routine and needs.

My garden is completely sealed! I am located near to lots of exciting walkies. My home is their home for however long they are with me. I don’t mind sofa and bed cuddles. I will stick to any routine that makes your pet feel more comfortable and safe. I like to make all my pets parents feel connected to their fur babies, and will send through lots of pupdates throughout the stay.☺️
A typical day
When I look after pets, I make sure they’re happy, relaxed, and enjoying themselves. That means trying out new and interesting walks, plenty of playtime, and lots of cuddles along the way. If they’re comfortable and it’s safe to do so, I also love letting dogs meet new furry friends and have positive social experiences. I always take things at their pace and make sure they feel cared for, secure, and at home.
