Hi there! Are you looking for someone in the Cleveland area with dog sitting experience, a love for animals, a love for helping others and time on their hands? I have personal experience with doodles, labs, terriers, border collies, dachshunds & golden retrievers- but I love all doggos! I live near parks and I'm always active, so walks are right up my alley! My dog and I run 3-4 times a week and we walk every day. I'm happy to watch your dogs overnight and treat your home and pet(s) with respect and care. I'm patient, compassionate, caring, active, loving, kind and attentive. If you are need in someone to love your furballs while you're away, let me know! I have 3 of my own pets, 1 dog & 2 cats. I will give your furry friends the same love & attention I give mine :) If contacted- I will give special attention to your pet and their particular needs. I have experience watching dogs of different ages, breeds and backgrounds (my family dog was one that came from a broken home) and I know there may be special needs for special situations.

Lydia did an excellent job! She communicated well, sent us lots of pictures, and asked all kinds of questions to ensure she was providing the best care possible. We appreciated her flexibility, friendliness, and holistic care for our pup. Glad to have her back in the future!

I’m endlessly grateful that we booked Lydia for our trip. Our dog had an awful medical emergency while we were away, and Lydia became our girl’s hero. Without hesitation she took control of the situation, got her to the vet, and took on a lot of extra tasks to care for her. She was calm, attentive, communicative, and willing to go above and beyond for our pups. I never had to doubt my dogs were in capable, loving hands. I’d trust Lydia with any of my pets any day.

Lydia did an awesome job with our new rescue pup (who isn’t easy to manage) and our 12 year old cat. She was very responsive, provides pictures and took great care of them both. She even kept the house clean, changed the sheets and ran the laundry which was so nice to come home to after our travel. You can tell that she truly cares about your animals and loves them like her own. I highly recommend Lydia!

Lydia was great with our 3 pups! I got lots of photos throughout the stay and the house was very clean and picked up when we arrived home. She even changed the sheets. Quick to reply and kept the pups happy while we were away. Thanks Lydia!

Calendar and availability

Schedule

I’m an independently contracted mental health clinician! Open availability for the right gig :) I used to do Rover when I was in grad school, but it just became a lot of balls to juggle at once. I have been a licensed clinician now for 2 years and honestly, I just love animals and I have the free time to help. I make my own schedule, can work from home when need be & have a lot of autonomy/flexibility. I wanted to get another dog, but I figured this was a happy middle ground LOL.

Where your pet will stay

Safety, trust & environment

When watching your animals I will ask for a detailed note on how you feel they are best taken care of and all the safety precautions and rules you’d like me to adhere to!

A typical day

Walks, treats, playtime, cuddles while I’m doing school work. Whatever your dog enjoys I will provide that for them! You tell me. Normally I do 2-3 walks a day (weather permitting) & 15-30 mins playtime outside

16 to 40 lbs
41 to 100 lbs
over 101 lbs
Let me know what special needs your dog may have & what I can do to make you/them the most happy & comfortable! I like to have a schedule and routine and directions given to me so I know exactly how to best take care of them & to adhere to what you normally do.
Each sitter joining Rover needs to pass a background check. And by booking on Rover, you can get photo & message updates, 24/7 support, and reimbursement for eligible vet care.
