I enjoy trail running and hiking and would love to do a little of that while dog sitting, dogs' health permitting, of course.

Pet care experience
I've always been fascinated by canine behavior and have tried to learn all I can about training methods of all kinds. I loved to walk with my dog and train her to do tricks and how to behave around the house. Although she was about 65 pounds, I taught her how to act gently around my 3-year-old nephew. Sadly, she passed away a few months ago. I want to continue to share the knowledge and techniques I've learned while exploring the great outdoors with furry friends of all sorts. Beyond my own dog, I have some experience with dogs of all ages, shapes, and sizes. I have also done grooming like combing, bathing, tooth brushing, and nail clipping. The bottom line is that I am happy to do whatever care your companion needs. :)

Luis was available for a last minute one hour walk in the snow on top of that. I wasn’t feeling well and needed help with my foster dog. Lydia was great with him and was a lifesaver.
Lydia provided such a pleasant relief for us when she agreed to take care of our pups and house. Lydia is very thorough with her questions and understanding of our needs. The pups were a delight to come home to as you could tell they had been very well taken care of while we were away!
Lydia is a gem of a dog walker. She sends a detailed walk path with mileage and will let you know if she sees anything in their behavior you need to worry about. She’s responsive, knowledgeable and Scout loves her. So much so that he knows the sound of her car locking and runs to the door excited to see her. I trust Lydia in my house without me, and with my best friend. I’m going to be so, so sad when she moves away for law school. Plz don’t go
Lydia was incredible. She took time during the meet and greet to get to know us and Reggie which put me at ease while we were away. She asked great questions and took great care of our pup! Thanks Lydia!!
