There’s no animal I won’t love :)
I’ve had dogs for my entire life, having up to 5 at one point. I also have had a cat of my own for over a year and have been a short-term foster for one in the past. I have lots of experience in handling and working with dogs and cats alike. I have worked in my home town, the DC area, Albany, and the Mount Holyoke College surrounding area as a dog sitter, cat sitter, and dog walker for several families and clients for a few years now. Over the past year, as I’ve adjusted to a full-time job, I’ve had to take a step back from Rover, but I’m ready to get back into it! I am more than willing to work with animals with special needs, behavioral problems, and health conditions. As a huge animal person, I commit to going above and beyond for each of my clients.

Safety, trust & environment
I care for pets in the pet’s home. I usually prefer to have at least one visit with the owner and pet prior to house/pet sitting for any extended period of time, as to go through the pets’ routines and any housesitting needs. As for dog walking, I also prefer to meet the pet with the owner prior to beginning the walks.

Lydia is the best!! She goes above and beyond to make my kitties and I are happy! Excellent communication, warmth, dedication, and professionalism! I truly wish she wasn't moving away, but I understand that she is going to make a huge difference in many human and nonhuman lives as she pursues higher education! I cannot recommend Lydia enough!

Lydia was super sweet and attentive! My dog Jada is very territorial and can get picky with the people she lets get close to, and just the fact that she warmed up so quickly to Lydia is a great sign. Lydia kept me posted at all times and sent pictures. She also stayed with Jada when she was nervous after hearing fireworks for the festivities. I will definitely book again with her!
Lydia was amazing and I would absolutely ask for her help again! She gave helpful updates and my dog loved her immediately so we recommend her to the fullest!

Schedule
I work full time in Northampton, but have weekends and Tuesdays off! Mondays, and Wednesday-Friday, I am only available very early or after 6PM as I work 7:30AM-6PM.

- I would love to know energy levels, favorite games/treats, what commands are known, any specific behavioral quirks. I am committed to working with any animals that have anxiety or other behavioral issues as long as I’m made aware of them beforehand.
