Lydia can care for
Availability
Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. I offer drop-in visits and dog walks between 10am and 1pm, seven days a week. The prices indicated on Rover are base rates and I will add travel time fees upon request. I work flexibly and spend a lot of time outdoors, so this midday window is a great fit for both my schedule and your pet’s needs. I enjoy having a structured, active routine, and caring for animals gives me a sense of purpose and connection.

Safety, trust & environment
When I’m in a pet owner’s home, I’m respectful of their space and careful to follow any instructions closely - from feeding times to security routines. I aim to create a calm, consistent environment where pets can feel safe and relaxed in their familiar surroundings. I always prioritise your pet’s wellbeing and am happy to give updates during my visits.
Information Lydia H. would like to know about your pet
Before I meet your pet, it’s helpful to know about any quirks, medical needs, or routines that help them feel secure. Do they have favourite toys, treats, or walking routes? Are there any triggers or things to avoid? The more I know, the better I can care for them just the way you do.
A typical day
Each visit or walk is tailored to your pet’s personality - whether that means a playful romp in the park, a calm walk through quiet streets, or some gentle companionship indoors. I bring calm, positive energy and always make time for cuddles, play, and enrichment.

Reliable Pet Care For Cats and Dogs
Pet care experience
Growing up with two Labradors gave me a strong foundation in understanding canine behaviour and handling skills. That early experience, combined with over a year of pet sitting, has taught me how to adapt to the unique needs and personalities of each animal. I’m confident caring for both cats and small to medium-sized dogs, and I approach every pet with patience, gentleness, and close attention to detail - treating them as if they were my own.
