Availability
I work in the orchestra so my schedule varies week to week but my hours are never long. Generally I am available before 10am and after 3:30pm with a hour break 12:30-1:30. Some days like Mondays and Fridays I am available all day. Most of August I am not working and am free anytime. I’m also happy to come to you if you need an overnight sitter.

I am happy to get a run in with your dog, play games with them, tug of war, or whatever they enjoy! With cats, I love to learn what unique style of play each one enjoys, and try to get them excited.

Pet care experience
I could sit on the floor next to your dog or cat and give them love for hours. They are the sweetest beings on earth and I love to interact with them! I don’t have specialized training in pet care, but I do have years of experience dog-sitting and have a cat of my own who I adore. Hire me for a job well done and a low price, because I love long walks!

Lydia took great care of our two large dogs and our home.
We are always worried about leaving our cat at home when we go on vacation because she is anxious and very attached to us. It was immediately clear when we got home that Lydia took great care of her (and our apartment). I would happily have Lydia look after her again!
Lydia was great, took our request last minute and was really easy to work with in coming to see the house and meet the pets. Lydia was easy to communicate with on our trip and made it easy to be away. We came home to a well taken care of place and happy pets. We will connect with Lydia again for pet and house sitting.
Lydia has the kind of boundless energy that makes dogs feel like she's one of their own. She is reliable, caring, and loves building relationships with animals. She helped take care of my kitty Margaux and probably spent more time with her than I do :')
