Full time dog lover and dog carer
I have been officially taking care of dogs since 2020 and am now bringing my services to Rover! Following a RIF in my office job, I am now home full time and ready to meet any and all needs of your sweet pup. I have regular gigs watching a 2 month puppy as well as a 110 lb Mastiff—all are welcome!

Ratings and reviews
Lydia did a fantastic job with our puppy and was very responsive. She was incredibly punctual and sent cute photos! Our puppy was always very happy and well-exercised when we returned home, and Lydia was very flexible to changes.

Lydia did an amazing job. She took care of Cowboy for an entire week while we went on vacation. She made us feel comfortable by sending photos and updates and accommodating Cowboys needs. I highly recommend her and she let Cowboy sleep on her bed, of course we asked first. We are very happy and I know Cowboy was too. Thank you Lydia we appreciate you.

Lydia is great with our dog Luna! We have her as our regular dog walker and Luna is always excited to see her.

Lydia is awesome! Can’t say enough good things about her. She’s timely, communicative, and also I can tell she actually loves dogs and cares for them well. Definitely will be using her again!

Lydia has been our go-to dog sitter for years, and I honestly can't recommend her enough. She has cared for our 9-year-old Argentine Mastiff, Meabh, through boarding, daycare, house sitting, and walks, and I trust her completely. Meabh is a 110-pound senior dog with separation anxiety, hip issues, and a daily medication and supplement routine. She also still has plenty of energy when she's excited, so she needs someone who understands both her medical needs and her personality. Lydia does an incredible job balancing all of that. She always makes sure Meabh gets her medications, takes her on plenty of long walks, and gives her all the love and attention she could ask for. One of my favorite parts of having Lydia watch Meabh is the daily photo updates. It's so great to see how happy and comfortable she is while we're away. Meabh gets excited as soon as she realizes she's going to Lydia's house because she knows she's about to be completely spoiled. Every time we pick her up, she's happy, well cared for, and clearly had an amazing time. It's obvious that Lydia treats every dog like one of her own. If you're looking for someone who is dependable, communicates well, and genuinely loves dogs, be it seniors and those with special needs, rescues, or new puppies, I wholeheartedly recommend Lydia. She has earned our trust completely, and she'll continue to be the first person we call whenever we're out of town.
Lydia has taken care of my beloved Leo multiple times over the last few years and has always provided the highest quality care and attention. She is professional, timely, and responsive, and best of all—my dog loves her to the point that he sometimes doesn’t want to come back with me! I’m sure that if Leo could write this review, it would be even more glowing.

Home characteristics
Safety, trust & environment
I live in a row home apartment with private entrance so dogs won’t be overwhelmed by other people in the hallways. I typically let dogs roam free in my apartment (unless otherwise requested) and have a private, fenced in balcony for them to catch some rays. We have an unfenced yard on the property and multiple dog parks nearby (including some small private ones for the more reactive dogs).
