Availability
I work from home full time with lots of flexibility. I look after my own dog at home. He usually gets walked in the morning, but we are very flexible. If you're booking day care, your dog will have access to the garden as and when they need.

Safety, trust & environment
I make sure every dog in my care feels safe, comfortable and loved. If your dog is in my home, I have a secure fenced garden and a dog-friendly house with a stair gate in place. I work from home downstairs, so dogs have company and supervision throughout the day. They’re welcome to relax wherever they’re most comfortable, whether that’s their own bed or curled up on the sofa. Any time spent with my own dog is always supervised and mealtimes will be seperate. When caring for your dog in your home, I’ll follow your routines and guidance to help your dog feel relaxed and settled. I’m calm, patient and respectful of every pet’s individual needs, and I’m very happy to provide regular updates and photos for peace of mind.

Information Lydia G. would like to know about your pet
I’d love to know what your dog likes and dislikes, how much exercise they would like and how they get on with other dogs, and any other specific requirements or needs.
A typical day
I enjoy walking and running and will take your dog for a good long walk every day (or whatever is best for their needs). I also enjoy games and training in the house and the garden - we have plenty of dog toys in the home for entertainment!

Pet care experience
Hi, I’m Lydia! I’ve grown up around dogs and animals all my life and currently have a dog of my own, so caring for pets is a huge part of my life. I adore animals and will treat your pet like part of the family, giving them plenty of care, attention and company while they’re with me. I understand that every dog is different, so will take time to make sure they feel safe, comfortable and happy in my care. For boarding stays at my home, I arrange a meet-and-greet beforehand to make sure our dogs get along well and everyone feels relaxed.
Reviews

Alfie had another wonderful day with Lydia and Roscoe. He is very much at home there. Many thanks.

Alfie had such a wonderful time at Lydia’s and she took great care of him. I really appreciated the meet and greet beforehand and the photos through the day. I could see that he was relaxed and comfortable. I will definitely book him in to stay at Lydia’s again.
Highly recommend Lydia for doggydaycare and thankyou again for helping us out last minute.
