Availability
I am presently between jobs, so my schedule is fairly open to spend time with your fur baby. I do not offer overnights as I value being home with my own pup at night.

Safety, trust & environment
My priority is always safety first and leaving your home how I found it... or better if I can! I am detail-oriented and can handle complex processes when needed. At one point, the kitty in the photos was taking five prescriptions per day, so I can manage pretty much anything.
Information Lydia E. would like to know about your pet
I've never met a pet I didn't like... and they feel the same way about me! I have a passion for herding dogs, poodles, and ginormous Maine Coons, but I love making new types of friends. Whether they're a hyper guy or a couch potato, I'd love to know what to expect. Aside from the essential details, I'd want to know their favorite things to do: they deserve a little extra fun! It's also helpful to know how much training the dog has had: does (s)he walk well on a leash, come when called, etc? I have experience with training, so I feel confident I could handle them no matter their disciplinary problems, but it's good to know what they already know.
A typical day
Whatever your furry family member loves to do, we will do! I give stellar tummy rubs, head pats, and neck scratches; your pet is not going to want for attention!

Pet care experience
I am a Nashville native and pet lover with five years of experience on Rover, though I took a break to raise my own puppy. I'm comfortable working with dogs of all sizes. I now share my home with a couch potato of a Corgi—the sweet kitty in the photos passed away a couple of years ago. I know how difficult it is to be away from a part of your family, so my number one priority is to make things easier for you and your dog. I also watch cats! I've never met a pet that didn't love me, so you can feel safe leaving your baby in my hands. I'm happy to do as much as possible to make your pet comfortable, whether that's playing a vigorous game of frisbee or snuggling together. If your pet is anxious, I'm understanding. I know that it's tough for them to be without their pet parents, and I give off a calming presence so they can feel at ease. Additionally, I am happy to help with any needed medicine administration and can handle complex dosing needs. I will most definitely send you photo updates of your beloved pet so you can see how much fun we're having. I hope you reach out to me; I can't wait to meet you and your pet(s)!
Reviews

Lydia is the best! I feel completely at ease with my dog in her care. She always takes cute photos and leaves detailed notes as well. I have used her services several times now and she is so reliable and caring. Definitely trust her with my baby and would recommend her to anyone!

Lydia is amazing! She looked after my cat over the holidays and was awesome at keeping me informed and updated. I would definitely recommend her for any sitting needs!

Lydia took wonderful care of our girls! We got lots of pictures and they were very well taken care of. Thanks Lydia!

After just moving to Nashville and not having a chance to check out boarding options, we turned to Lydia for help. We were out of town over Christmas and Lydia went above and beyond to make sure she could check on our cat despite us living near where the explosion took place. She made sure to update us and get to our cat as soon as possible. It was a huge relief to know Lydia was taking care of him. We cannot recommend her more, your pets will be safe and taken care of with her!
