A typical day
A typical day with me varies depending on the needs and routines of the individual pet. I like to work with pet parents to try to keep their pets' routines as consistent as possible with their typical care when their parents are home. I love playing with animals and their favorite toys or letting them smell and experience the world outside, or a combination of both! A typical walk or hike with me includes gearing up with your pup at home, having a small snack and some water before our adventure, then heading out to explore either the neighborhood around their home or an exciting new dog-friendly hiking trail! I always take care to let your pup stimulate their brains with the new smells and explore at their pace. I am alert to other dogs, people, or animals we might encounter and keep a safe distance, positioning myself between your dog and any potential distractions or unwanted encounters.

We are so thankful for finding Lydia and the wonderful care our two pups and kitty were in while in her hands. She went above and beyond while sitting them, sending regular updates and letting us know how they were eating and going potty which gave us so much peace of mind. When we got home, they were relaxed, happy, and clearly cared for. We couldn’t have asked for a better sitter and would highly recommend her to anyone!
Lydia was absolutely wonderful! She provided both house sitting and dog sitting for us, and we couldn’t be happier with the experience. She was incredibly attentive and super communicative, providing us with regular updates and photos that showed just how much fun the dogs were having. It’s clear they had a total blast with her! We were also impressed by her reliability—when unexpected below-freezing temperatures hit, Lydia went above and beyond to make sure the house was well-kept and everything stayed safe and warm. We are so thankful to have found someone so responsible and caring. We already plan on booking Lydia for all our future needs and highly recommend her!
