Safety, trust & environment
I do not do home care because of my cat, but I have a car to take dogs to parks or any pets to the vet, etc. I have treats always on hand (will approve with you beforehand) to make a stressed pet feel better or to tell them they are being a good boy/girl :)
Information Lydia B. would like to know about your pet
Please let me know any important details about your pet prior to the service, including but not limited to: special needs, injuries, medications needed, limitations in exercise, preferred treats, behavior patterns, etc.
A typical day
I love to go on walks with dogs, but also would love to play at home with some toys! And for the less energetic pet, a good cuddle with lots of pets is right up my alley.

I’ll take care of your fur baby!
Pet care experience
I’ve grown up with dogs and cats, learning to take care of pets from a young age. I worked at Stray Rescue of St Louis with both dogs and cats and also worked for St Louis Dog Walkers for 2 years. I left the shelter and STL dog walkers when I moved back to Columbia after college, but continued to watch and walk the pets of my friends, family, and coworkers, as well as becoming a star sitter on Rover with 5 years of experience on the platform. I have my own 8 year old cat, Phoenix. Some have called me an animal whisperer because timid pets will usually warm up to me within 5 minutes. I’m excited to take care of your fur babies!

Lydia also cares for cats. Learn about their cat-specific care experience.
Reviews

This queen has taken care of my cat twice; she’s communicative and thoughtful. So appreciative!

Lydia was fantastic with my cat! She was super communicative and professional. We will definitely re-book with her in the future!!

Lydia was such a great cat sitter! She took lots of pictures and sent thorough updates to me.

This was our first time using Rover, and Lydia was incredible. She was always on time, very communicative, and clearly our zoo loved her because the house looked exactly as we left it. We will absolutely hope to rebook Lydia again on our next trip!
