Caring for your animals like my own
Ever since I was a child, I’ve always been a huge dog and cat lover. I became completely obsessed with dogs — collecting posters, reading and writing dog books, and dreaming of owning one. Growing up we had three cats but I was never allowed a dog which somehow only made me want one more I didn’t end up pursuing a career working with animals and instead became a nurse caring for people but that love for animals has never gone away. Now feels like the perfect opportunity to enjoy spending more time with and working around animals, without necessarily adding any more to our own busy brood. At home, we currently have one Whippet — who everyone mistakes for a Greyhound (previous to this we had a beautiful Cavalier)— along with our elderly cat who is 16 years old and still going strong. Add in our three children, and it makes for a wonderfully chaotic but happy household.

Lydia looked after my cat for 4 days. She sent me lots of photos of Coco with reassuring updates. Coco looked very content- Lydia went to pains to ensure she kept her normal routine, played games with her and encouraged her to stroll around the garden. Lydia is professional and friendly and I have no hesitation in recommending her.
Very polite and friendly, instantly hit it off with Flo the Weimaraner, who can be a funny bugger at times! Would definitely recommend and use again!
Gosh, where to start about Lydia? I would 100% recommend her to look after your beloved pets. As a dog owner, I have happily trusted her with my beautiful boy and in my home on many occasions. She is a professional, reliable person and dedicated to making others needs a priority. She would treat your pet as she does her own and be attentive, caring and responsible. Having owned dogs for years, she is competent, knowledgeable and confident.
