I currently am a Physical Education and Health Teacher therefore I am available during the week after 2:30pm. I am available all weekend at any time of the day or night. However, considering I only work 5 minutes from home I will be able to incorporate these daily and weekly routines as I have a lot of preps, lunch and downtime as a teacher. DAILY ROUTINE: Morning - Start the day with feeding, a walk (playtime), and any necessary medications. Midday - During my prep/lunch (2 hours) - I will provide bathroom breaks, a short walk or a play session in the yard. Afternoon/Evening - Another feeding, longer walk and more engaged playtime in the yard, followed by some winding-down time. Night - I will ensure pets are settled, comfortable, and safe for a good night's sleep. WEEKLY ROUTINE: Exercise Variety - I will include new games, toys, or walking routes t keep things fresh. Grooming Needs - I will brush their coat, clean their ears, or handle any specific grooming requirements. Training & Enrichment - I will dedicate time to reinforce good behavior or introduce new challenges.

IN MY HOME : I have a fenced in yard and front lawn to keep your fur baby safe at all times. I will keep them active and engaged in the yard as we play catch and enjoy the fun in the sun. Preparation - I will Pet-proof the space, remove hazards, and set up a comfortable area with bedding, toys and water. Routine - I will stick to their feeding, walking, and sleeping schedules to reduce stress. Supervision - I will keep an eye on them, especially during the first few days as they adjust. Safe Spaces - I will provide quiet spots for rest, especially for pets who may feel overwhelmed. Enrichment - I will engage in play, training, and mental stimulation tailored to their needs. IN THE CLIENT'S HOME: Respect Their Space - I will follow the pet's usual routine closely and maintain house rules. Familiar Comforts - I will use the pet's own bedding, toys and food to minimize changes. Security - I will ensure the home is secure and always follow the client's guidelines for locking doors and setting alarms. Communication - I will send updates, photos or videos to the pet owner for peace of mind. Cleanliness - I will keep the space tidy, clean up after the pet and leave home as I found it. I will provide water inside the house and in the yard during play time. We will have time to cuddle and bond while we recuperate for our next activity in the yard.

A typical day
I would focus on keeping them happy, active and comfortable. Depending on the pet's personality and needs, I would incorporate activities like: Walks and Outdoor adventures such as walks, hikes or a safe dog park if they enjoy socializing. Playtime like engaging in games like fetch, tug of war, or hide and seek to burn off energy. Enrichment Activities such as puzzle toys, treat dispensing toys, and scent games to stimulate their minds. Training and tricks like practicing basic commands or teaching fun new tricks to keep them mentally sharp. Cuddle and relaxation time for pets who enjoy downtime, they would most definitely feel loved and secure with some cozy time. Customized activities because every pet is different, so I'd adjust activities to suit their age, energy level and preferences.

I have been a huge dog lover ever since I can remember. As a 7 year old little girl I used to run downstairs to play, pet and show love to any dog I heard barking outside. When I got to High School I finally convinced my parents to allow me to bring a puppy home (German Shepard) and I completely dedicated my entire life to my dog, Kyser. My journey started with Kyser, who was my loyal companion for 16 unforgettable years until it was time to let him rest. My life literally revolved around Kyser despite the fact that I was only in high school. My social life came to a halt and anywhere I went, Kyser was by my side. I was so heartbroken when it was time to allow him to rest that my sister immediately got me my current dog, Duke, and as you can imagine, my life currently revolves around my baby, Dukey. Prime examples of my life revolving around my dog are, I literally only bought a house just so that I can provide my dog a safe and consistent space to reside in and remain in a safe, healthy and consistent environment at all times. Then I proceeded to purchase an SUV where my dog/dogs can travel with me comfortably on all road trips. The only time I leave my house now is to work because my only desire is to spent quality time with my dog either at home or at the park because my dog/s are what bring me the most peace in this life. My passion for dogs led me to work as a veterinary technician at an animal hospital for 5 years, where I had the privilege of caring for animals and learning even more about them. A few things set me apart from other sitters. With 5 years as a veterinary technician, I have hands-on experience with pet health, administering medications, handling emergencies, and recognizing signs of illness. This background is especially helpful for senior pets or those with medical needs. Another thing that sets me apart from other sitters are my training skills. I can reinforce basic commands, work on house-training, and use positive reinforcement techniques to support good behavior. Personalized care : I understand that every pet is unique. I take the time to learn their routines, preferences, and quirks to provide customized care that keeps them comfortable and happy. Experience with All Ages : from energetic puppies to senior dogs needing a slower pace, I have the patience and adaptability to cater to pets at every life stage. My experience with Kyser and Duke have given me personal insight into caring for aging dogs, which can be an emotional and delicate process. Communication and Trust : I believe in keeping pet owners in the loop with regular updates, photos, and videos, so they feel confident and at ease while away. Passion and Peace : Dogs are not just animals to me - they are family to me. Caring for them isn't a job but a joy, and I treat every pet with the same love and attention I gave to Duke. Duke was my entire world but unfortunately had to let him rest in peace with some dignity as well just a couple of months ago. Now, nothing would give me more pleasure than to show your pup nothing but LOTS OF LOVE and a great day full of activities and fun.

Luz was FANTASTIC with our senior dog Nugget! He got so much love and outdoor time and attention while we were out of town, and we got so many videos and pictures of him having a great time! By far Nugget’s and my favorite person to watch Nugget while we’re gone!
This is the first time using this app, and the first time leaving my dog with someone we didn’t know. At first, it was tough because I was so scared. I wanted someone with a good heart, who loved animals and who would make my dog feel like he was with me. Luz welcomed us into her home two weeks early se we could meet her. From the first day, Milo connected with her, and so did we. Leaving your pet is like leaving your child, and seeing that she has that passion, love, and patience made me joy my vacation. Every day, she texted me, sent videos even video calls, and made me feel at peace. Luz is an exceptional person, and in June Milo will return for a weekend, since we found a place of peace after our home for our baby. Important note: Milo loves his Nani ♥️ Thank you very much! Es la primera vez que uso esta aplicación y la primera vez dejando a mi perrito con una persona que no conocía. Al principio no fue fácil porque quería una buena persona con buen corazón, que amara los animales y que hiciera sentir a mi perrito como si estuviera conmigo. Luz nos recibió dos semanas antes para conocerla y desde el día uno Milo conectó con ella y nosotros también. Dejar tu mascota es como dejar a un hijo, y Luz tiene la paciencia, el amor y la pasión y esto hizo que disfrutara mis vacaciones. Siempre nos mandó videos a diario y mensajes de cómo estaba Milo y hasta video llamadas. Luz es excepcional y en Junio volverá por un fin de semana ya que encontramos un lugar de paz luego de nuestro hogar para nuestro bebé 🐾 Nota Importante: Milo ama a su Nani! ♥️
