I am taking all safety precautions regarding covid19 and can safely perform all of my usual services while masked and practicing social distancing. For cat care clients, please include the time frame you need the service and the nearest street intersection by your home. For house sitting in your home, in the first message, please include your nearest intersections, regular schedule of your pup and their walk time needs and what your pups care needs are. Thank you and I look forward to hearing from you :) I would love to help you with all of your pet care needs. I'm experienced with dogs of all ages and sizes. All breeds welcome. I have been working professionally with pets since 2007. I am trained in dog behavior, health, grooming, diet, and training. I have worked assisting trainers with teaching behavioral classes, been a supervisor at two different pet care facilities, and a former foster parent to several dogs with slight behavioral issues. I have experience working at daycares/pet boarding facilities, dog walking companies and dog groomers assistant for around 4 years each at several Chicago businesses. I also worked at PAWS Chicago as an intern during college, and have completed classes at the Animal Career Academy in canine behavior. I have been providing all of my pet care services full time myself since Fall 2014. Overall, I would say that I am very well rounded in my expertise and I am great with all breeds, all sizes and all temperaments of dogs and cats. My favorite part about pet care is getting to spend time getting to know each new furry friend - their quirks and personalities. It's wonderful when my pup, Kove, can get a lifelong pal too :) I am familiar with all health care and emergency needs. I know the signs that point to an urgent vet visit being necessary. I know how to check canine vitals and perform canine CPR. I have a full canine first aid kit carefully curated for all potential needs. I am able to give medication, including injections. I have some vet tech experience and can tend to wounds and healing as needed. Of course you would be kept up to date if anything happened! I just want to reassure you that no matter what happens, im able to take on the task. Please be sure to leave emergency contact information if you will be unable to be reached at any point of your pups stay. Dogs that have issues on leash are welcome as long as reactive or aggressive behaviors are not displayed off leash. The exception is if I'm pet sitting in your home and your yard is securely fenced. If your dog is large or very strong, they need to come with some type of corrective collar, head harness or a front clipping harness for walks for safety purposes, particularly in the cold weather if it becomes icy. I would be so grateful for the chance to hang out with and care for your fur babies ♡ I work with pups of all ages. I strive to maintain consistency with the training you are working on at home on all of our walks while also making them fun and exciting! I can help with all types of behaviors and all ages, as long as your pup will allow me to work with them. I can walk up to 2 pups at a time. I do not walk multiple clients together, only pups from the same home. Distractibility, over excitement, leash reactivity, pulling, ect are all behaviors I can work with. If pups that I am unable to walk have safe fenced in yard access, I can let them in the yard and play with them or let them do what they prefer during my visits.
