I’m currently working at University of Oregon’s Neuroscience Institute, creating programs and workshops for the students to better their well-being and happiness! I typically work 4-6 hours per shift, about 3-5 days a week. Because of this, we need to have met up and confirmed our booking with at least 2 weeks before I’ll be watching your little baby. That way I can rearrange my schedule to best suit them and their schedule!

I care for my cat by making sure to play with her as much as possible. Feed her at a consistent time everyday. I give her a bath about every two weeks. I used to clean her litter box everyday, but recently invested in an electric littler box that self cleans (woohoo)! As far as taking care of your baby, I’m extremely detail oriented and good at following directions. I can follow whatever care instructions you’d like me to, to make sure your pet is sticking to their schedule, getting enough play time, outside time, and of course love. I also will make sure to send you lots of updates of what we get up to as well as many pictures so you feel like you’re still with them!

I have experience with tending to my dog at home who has bladder issues and needs to wear a diaper. I also have experience giving medication to older dogs. If your sweet baby has any special things about them that need extra care, let me know I’ll be happy to accommodate as much as I can!
A typical day
I love to take my cat into the hall way and let her run around and chase her ball. Stormi also loves to play with the laser pen, so we do that a lot. I also love to take my dogs at home for walks all throughout the day. I also throw the ball in the backyard. Sadie loves to play hide and seek too, so I’ll tell her to stay, run and hide somewhere, then call to her to find me. We both absolutely love to play that game together. When it comes to pet sitting and boarding, I’m so happy to take them for walks and/or dog parks if that’s something you’d like me to do. I really enjoy play time whether it’s with a kitty or dog. I also keep lots of dog and cat treats on hand at all times, so they will also get treats throughout the day (within moderation and your permission of course).

Pet care experience
I’ve been lucky enough to grow up around animals my whole life. I have experience with training them to do tricks, bathing, feeding, playing, and of course cuddling. I have two chihuahuas back at home with my parents and a two year old kitten here with me! My kitty Stormi, has multiple health conditions that I’ve been tending to since adopting her. One of my chihuahuas at home has to wear a diaper and the other is elderly and is given medication daily, so I have a wide range of experience with taking extra special care of our pets. I have lots of experience taking care of my own animals and others, as I used to pet sit frequently in highschool and am currently volunteering at PetSmart! Needless to say, I think any time spent around animals is time well spent.

Luna was an outstanding pet/house sitter. My situation was kind of unique as our house has been slowly inching towards the end of a major remodel. Luna was flexible and understanding with the people coming and going. She is a great communicator and made sure to check in often. Lots of pics of the dogs kept me from feeling anxious about having a stranger come stay in our house. Everything was perfect when we returned home and I would 100% book Luna again!
Luna was incredible with all four of our animals. One pup specifically is very anxious with new people. He will bark and back away and seeing him warm up to her 15 minutes after being around her was so special. Very soft and kind energy that she brings. We received plenty of updates and photos that really calmed our nerves from being away from home. The house was left perfect and all animals definitely were loved and cared for. Would not hesitate to have Luna back with us again.
