Pet Care Experience I have hands-on experience caring for pets of all ages, temperaments, and needs. From energetic puppies who require structure and positive reinforcement to senior pets who need gentler handling and consistent routines, I’m comfortable adapting my care style to each animal. I’m attentive, patient, and always focused on helping pets feel safe, understood, and loved while their humans are away. What Sets Me Apart What sets me apart from other sitters is my calm, dependable approach and my commitment to tailoring care to each pet’s individual personality. I take the time to learn their habits, comforts, and communication cues so they can relax and feel at home. I also prioritize clear communication with owners—sharing updates, photos, and notes so you always know how your pet is doing. Special Skills Puppy care & training basics: crate training, potty training routines, leash manners, and positive-reinforcement teaching. Senior pet support: administering medication (oral/topical), mobility assistance, slow and comfortable guided walks, and creating a soothing environment. Behavior awareness: recognizing stress signals, redirecting unwanted behaviors gently, and maintaining safe play and social interactions. Flexible care styles: whether your pet is shy, high-energy, or has special routines, I adjust to what helps them thrive.

I could not recommend Luke and Michaela enough. It was the first time our 11 month old lab has stayed with anyone other than family for a longer period of time. They made us feel so at ease and relaxed whilst we were away. They sent us regular updates. Our pup always looked so happy and comfortable and got on really well with their two lovely dogs. Would definitely book again.
We would highly recommend Luke& family. He kept in contact frequently, sending photos& texts. He gave our dog some good exercise using a secure field. Fed, watered& cared for him, making sure our dog was happy whilst we were out of the country! We thank him, from Shelby for a wonderful stay! 😀
Luke and Michaela are wonderful with my puppy Teddy, he loves going there and I have the comfort of knowing that he is so well looked after with regular updates ❤️
Luke and his partner looked after our four month old puppy, Murphy, for three nights. It was our first time leaving him and we couldn’t be happier with the care he received. Luke kept us updated regularly with messages and photos. He had lots of walks and loved the company of Luke’s dog, Sid! Luke took extra care of Murphy as there was a heat wave and made sure he had early walks and plenty of cooling off. We also changed our plans last minute and needed two extra nights. Luke and his partner were extremely accommodating. I wouldn’t hesitate to leave Murphy with Luke and his partner again 😊
Luke and Michaela were amazing with our dog Charlie. They were lovely and caring and made him feel at home. When we picked Charlie up he had such a great time he didn’t want to leave! We will definitely be booking again, thanks for looking after Charlie.
Luke and his partner took such good care of Cilla on her first overnight stay😊. Luke sent photos and let me know that she was settled - Cilla ran to their front door when we arrived and jumped up to Luke for cuddles! It’s hard leaving your dog in someone else’s care, but I would definitely trust Luke with her again😊.

Schedule
Either myself or my wife are at home all the time due to hybrid working, dogs can be walked at anytime required day or night. Dogs are never left if required to have a constant presence.

I have a fully fenced garden, live on a quiet road, I have two dogs who are super friendly, a 11 year old Labrador and a one year old Australian labradoodle so dogs are well looked after if they are young or old.

A typical day
Dogs can be walked as often as required both on and off lead. We have several fields close to us as well as secure dog fields and we are local to woods where our dogs run off lead if they can.
