Working full-time ( mon- fri) with a remote job, the job is not very demanding and doesn’t need me at my desk the whole time so in between tasks I can play around and let them out for a potty break.

I keep the home clean and organised, follow any specific instructions closely, and monitor their health and behaviour throughout. I also provide regular updates so owners feel confident their pet is safe, settled, and well cared for in their absence.

Emergency contact details for a vet and the owner. House rules, preferred commands, and anything specific that helps keep the pet comfortable and settled. Please note that I prefer a longer sit 4+ days and if shorter I am more than happy to negotiate the rate. Thanks

A typical day is structured around the pet’s normal routine to keep them comfortable and settled. This includes morning feeding, walks or playtime, and making sure they get attention and interaction throughout the day. For more active pets, I include longer walks, games like fetch, or outdoor time. For calmer pets or cats, I focus on gentle play, enrichment, and keeping them relaxed in their environment. I adapt activities to each pet’s personality and energy level, whether that’s exercise, mental stimulation, or simply companionship. The focus is on keeping them engaged, happy, and stress-free while maintaining consistency in their daily routine. Training is also an option but would need further discussion

Previously ran a successful dog-walking business before transitioning into full-time travel, where I’ve spent the past three years pet-sitting and working with dogs across Asia, Australia, Central America, and South America. Luke recently house sat and looked after our pets for a week whilst we were abroad. At first I was a little nervous as have never used Rover before- we liked Luke’s profile and he was super responsive from the instant we reached out, despite being abroad himself at the time! He was empathetic and polite, warm and professional and answered all questions honestly. As we were entrusting our home to him, he was more than happy to come over to meet the dogs and see the house before we went ahead. He was punctual, polite, down to earth and clearly great with our two cockapoos! During the stay he sent regular updates & pics on WhatsApp and even offered to pick up a few supplies for us so we didn’t have an empty fridge to come back to! It gave us great peace of mind to have him house sit and I’d recommend him - we will be booking again!
Luke looked after our three Border Collies for five nights while we were away, and we couldn’t have asked for a better house and dog sitter. From the moment we met him, it was clear he has a natural affinity with dogs. Luke was also incredibly respectful of our home. He kept everything clean and tidy, and it was lovely to come back to a well-looked-after house as well as three very content dogs. Luke came to meet us and our dogs Bear and Aura before our agreed date. He kept in contact with us and was punctual and polite. Made us feel at ease knowing he was there and although for a short stay the dogs were looked after. I would recommend Luke as Bear is a fussy dog but accepted Luke which is a thumbs up. Would use again in the future.
Luke looked after my dogs for two weeks at my home. He is truly a genuine dog lover and connects deeply with dogs..and truly cares. This is what i was looking for when choosing a sitter. Your dogs will be in great hands and safe and loved. Luke is a wonderful person and highly responsible. The dogs missed him when he left..he has a passion for dogs and they feel loved and therefore i had no worries knowing they were in good hands while away!
