I care for pets in the owner’s home by maintaining their normal routine as closely as possible, keeping feeding times, walks, play, and rest consistent to reduce stress. I make sure they feel comfortable in their own environment by giving them attention, exercise, and mental stimulation suited to their personality and energy levels. I keep the home clean and organised, follow any specific instructions closely, and monitor their health and behaviour throughout. I also provide regular updates so owners feel confident their pet is safe, settled, and well cared for in their absence.

Luke recently house sat and looked after our pets for a week whilst we were abroad. At first I was a little nervous as have never used Rover before- we liked Luke’s profile and he was super responsive from the instant we reached out, despite being abroad himself at the time! He was empathetic and polite, warm and professional and answered all questions honestly. As we were entrusting our home to him, he was more than happy to come over to meet the dogs and see the house before we went ahead. He was punctual, polite, down to earth and clearly great with our two cockapoos! During the stay he sent regular updates & pics on WhatsApp and even offered to pick up a few supplies for us so we didn’t have an empty fridge to come back to! It gave us great peace of mind to have him house sit and I’d recommend him - we will be booking again!
Luke looked after our three Border Collies for five nights while we were away, and we couldn’t have asked for a better house and dog sitter. From the moment we met him, it was clear he has a natural affinity with dogs. Luke was also incredibly respectful of our home. He kept everything clean and tidy, and it was lovely to come back to a well-looked-after house as well as three very content dogs. Luke came to meet us and our dogs Bear and Aura before our agreed date. He kept in contact with us and was punctual and polite. Made us feel at ease knowing he was there and although for a short stay the dogs were looked after. I would recommend Luke as Bear is a fussy dog but accepted Luke which is a thumbs up. Would use again in the future.
Luke looked after my dogs for two weeks at my home. He is truly a genuine dog lover and connects deeply with dogs..and truly cares. This is what i was looking for when choosing a sitter. Your dogs will be in great hands and safe and loved. Luke is a wonderful person and highly responsible. The dogs missed him when he left..he has a passion for dogs and they feel loved and therefore i had no worries knowing they were in good hands while away!
I can’t recommend Luke highly enough. He’s incredibly warm and reliable, which gives me real peace of mind whenever I’m away. My elderly dog has specific medical needs, and he handles everything with genuine care, patience, and attention to detail. He also goes above and beyond by looking after my rabbits, making sure they’re well fed and comfortable. While I’m away, he provides regular updates, which I really appreciate—it’s so reassuring to know everything is running smoothly at home. On top of all that, Luke keeps the house clean and tidy, which makes coming back even easier. A truly dependable and thoughtful sitter.
Luke looked after my dog which funnily enough is called Rover! for a total of 8 weeks across 2024 and 2025 while I was away, and the experience was consistently excellent. From the start, he was reliable, attentive, and clearly experienced with animals. He kept me updated every day with messages and photos, which made a real difference and gave me complete peace of mind while I was away. He followed every instruction I left and went beyond what was expected, making sure Rover was not only well cared for but genuinely happy and engaged. It was obvious that he treated him with the same level of care and attention as if he were his own. On top of that, Luke maintained the house to a very high standard. I returned to a clean, tidy home each time, with everything exactly as it should be. I have no complaints at all. Luke was consistently dependable, thoughtful, and professional throughout. I would confidently recommend him to anyone looking for a trustworthy and high-quality pet sitter.

Schedule
Working full-time ( mon- fri) with a remote job, the job is not very demanding and doesn’t need me at my desk the whole time so in between tasks I can play around and let them out for a potty break.
