Pet care experience
I love dogs, and have taken care of them ever since I was young. I have worked with dozens of dogs over the years, each with different personalities. I have cared for puppies, dogs with disabilities, older dogs, and even cats. Growing up I took care of the 5 dogs, and sometimes my brother’s 2 other dogs.

Luke was an absolute lifesaver watching my dog Winston while I was away on vacation for a week. As a first-time Rover user, I was a bit nervous about leaving Winston with a stranger, but Luke put all my worries at ease. From our first meet-and-greet, it was clear he genuinely cared about Winston's wellbeing and would treat him like his own. During the week I was gone, Luke sent me regular updates and photos so I could see that Winston was happy, healthy, and well taken care of. I never had to worry about Winston while I was away - I knew he was in good hands. When I returned, Winston was relaxed and content, which told me he had a great time with Luke. I'm so grateful to have found Luke on Rover. He's reliable, attentive, and truly loves animals. I'll definitely be booking him again next time I need a sitter for Winston. If you're looking for someone you can trust with your furry family member, I highly recommend Luke!
Luke has been dog sitting for me for over 8 years now! He was honestly the only one I trusted when I had my Malinois (who was a handful for most) and he continues to be a reliable and trustworthy sitter for my other two babies. He’s always my first choice and when I go extended leave I know I won’t have to worry about my dogs being neglected. My big girl even seems to understand when I tell her Luke (her boy) is coming over!
