Caring Heart for Furry Friends
I’ve cared for animals my whole life, starting with my Westie, then my tortoiseshell cat, and now my energetic Border Collie/Heeler mix. Having pets with different personalities and needs has taught me the importance of patience, attention to detail, and dedicated care. I’m a safe, trustworthy person who truly enjoys making animals feel comfortable, loved, and secure. I’m also very active and love running, hiking, and biking, so I’m especially great with energetic dogs who need lots of exercise and engagement. Whether it’s long walks, playtime, or quiet companionship, I treat every pet like my own and always prioritize their happiness and well-being.

I live right along a park, so daily walks are already a big part of my routine with my Border Collie/Heeler mix. My dog is very friendly, active, and would love to have some new walking buddies from time to time. We spend a lot of time outside exploring trails, getting exercise, and enjoying fresh air, so your dog would get plenty of activity, attention, and companionship while in my care. If you would NOT like your furry friend to have a companion, please let me know, and I can accomodate whatever routines you have.

Luisa is a wonderful, caring, and trustworthy person who loves animals and goes above and beyond to truly care for them. If you are lucky enough to have her care for your pet, you can enjoy peace of mind knowing she will treat them as her own. Luisa is dependable and my cat is always happy when I return home after Luisa has taken care of her. She does more than just make sure their basic needs are met (i.e., food, water, litter box) she spends time to play with my cat and and give her emotional nurturing as well. I am so grateful I can rely on her to help care for my kitty when I’m out of town!
I have known Luisa for the past 6 years, having first met during our time in Teach For America Corps. I came from a non-educator background, but wanted to pursue teaching. Luisa was extremely knowledgeable, supportive and patient. She was able to help with any questions I had and helped me further develop my skills as a teacher. I was truly lucky to have her as a dedicated colleague. Not only did I get to witness her ability as a fellow teacher, but I also saw this same approach in the classroom with her students. She created a supportive learning environment where all students felt welcomed and encouraged to make mistakes and try their best. Students could always go to Luisa for any support they might need or questions they might have. I believe Luisa will make a positive impact on any endeavor she chooses to pursue.

Schedule
I’m currently a substitute teacher in Bozeman, and pet sitting through Rover is a meaningful way for me to supplement my income while doing something I genuinely enjoy. Working in schools has strengthened my patience, responsibility, and attention to detail, which naturally carry over into the way I care for animals. I’m dependable, trustworthy, and committed to making sure every pet feels safe, comfortable, and well cared for while their owners are away.
