Cage-Free Dog Boarding & Daycare

***Things to Know Before Booking*** We’re not a training facility, so we’re the best fit for easygoing, social pups. Think of this as a warm, safe home where your dog can relax and be part of our everyday life while you’re away — not a replica of their exact routine at home. We can’t accommodate dogs who: • Show aggression toward people or other dogs • Don’t have reliable recall • Have severe anxiety that leads to digging, fence jumping, or escaping • Are escape artists or heavy chewers who need constant supervision • Have high working-dog energy (like herding breeds that need a job) • Need to be kept separate from the pack • Bark, whine, or howl nonstop • Need more structure, training, or special accommodations beyond what our home setup provides • Aren’t potty trained or tend to mark inside the house — that’s a no-no here! Limitations & Lifestyle We keep things simple and safe. Dogs naturally join our daily rhythm — hanging out in the office, relaxing indoors, and enjoying a calm home environment. We prefer dogs who are comfortable roaming freely and don’t rely on crates or kennels during their stay. Walks are occasional treats, usually only when: • There are two dogs or fewer in care, and • The weather allows it (no extreme heat or heavy rain) This setup keeps everyone comfortable, relaxed, and safe while fitting right into our home routine. Location, Location, Location • We’re right off the Purdy Exit along SR 302 — near the Purdy Sand Spit. • Our fully fenced yard is perfect for zoomies, sunbathing, or just lounging around with a new furry buddy. Your Dog’s Home Away from Home • Your pup will join our gentle golden retriever, Lobster, in our cozy home and safe, fenced yard. I’m Lu — a full-time designer who works from home — which means your dog gets company and supervision pretty much 24/7 (Jason covers the 5% when I’m doing errands). • The calm, homey environment care help your dog settle in comfortably and feel right at home. What Sets Us Apart • Safe, fenced yard for playtime and lazy strolls (weather permitting). • No kennels or crates — just freedom, fun, and friendship. • Flexible scheduling to match your dog’s needs. • Photo updates that make you feel right there with them. Book your pup’s playful getaway today — and give yourself the peace of mind (and worry-free downtime) you deserve! 🐾

Luisa took great care of Hank and shared many wonderful updates during his stay! As first time clients, we were very appreciative of her availability for a meet and greet where Hank got meet a number of the other pups and get familiar with her space!

Schedule

I work full-time at home and have lots of free time in between to play in the yard and give pets to our pup. I am/we are mostly available on weekdays because we are out and about hiking, rock climbing, and paddleboarding with our pup during many weekends. If you have a puppy who needs to go on a hike or adventure, we can accommodate that too!

Safety, trust & environment

We have a fully fenced yard around the house and a gate that separates the yard into two: back & left, and front & right. Our home has outdoor cameras that detect even the slightest movement. We always make sure that we are outside w/ Lobster and would show the same care and attention to your dogs as well.

Pets

A typical day

We have limitations. Dogs enjoy a relaxed, home-style day - roaming freely inside and playing in our fenced yard. We do group play of fetch from time to time to tire out dogs who can do a game of fetch. This is a cozy home, not a training setup - just a safe place for dogs to be part of a household.

Please share any quirks, triggers, or special needs. We can’t host dogs with aggression, high anxiety, escape habits, or potty issues. This is a relaxed, roam-free home with a fenced yard — not a training setup — so pups should be calm and social.
Each sitter joining Rover needs to pass a background check. And by booking on Rover, you can get photo & message updates, 24/7 support, and reimbursement for eligible vet care.
