Luisa can care for
Availability
I have a flexible work schedule where I choose my shifts, which allows me to be fairly adaptable for pet care bookings. Starting in the fall I will only have class on Mondays, which means I will be free to care for your pet the rest of the week.

About Luisa D.
Safety, trust & environment
I enjoy active dog walks in most weather (within safe limits) and tailor each walk to the dog’s needs. I have a car for reliable travel and plan to use a secure seatbelt attachment for safety. Drop-ins include feeding, water, clean-up, medication administration, nail trims, and making sure pets are comfortable and cared for.
Information Luisa D. would like to know about your pet
To give your pet the best care, I like to learn their routine and preferences. It’s helpful to know feeding schedules, potty routines, and any commands they respond to. I also like to know about their temperament, energy level, and any fears, quirks, or triggers. Please let me know about any medical needs, medications, allergies, or special instructions as well. The more I know, the better I can make your pet feel comfortable, safe, and cared for while you’re away.
A typical day
For dogs, this usually includes walks, playtime, feeding, fresh water, and lots of attention and companionship. I like to keep pets mentally stimulated with play or enrichment activities, and I always make sure they get exercise appropriate for their age and needs. For drop-in visits, I’ll handle feeding, potty breaks, clean-up, and check that your pet is comfortable and safe before I leave. I’m also happy to give medications, do light grooming like nail trims if requested, and send regular updates so you know how your pet is doing.

Future Vet tech & Animal Lover❤️🐾
Pet care experience
As a vet tech student in my final year, I’ve gained hands-on experience caring for cats and dogs in both school labs and kennel settings. I’m comfortable with nail trims, baths, medical grooming, medication administration, and caring for pets with ongoing medical needs. I’m trained in basic first aid and pay close attention to animal behavior, so I can understand how pets are feeling and respond in a calm, safe way. Keeping pets comfortable and safe is always my top priority.
Reviews
Luísa took care of my puppy Max several times and she is the best dog sitter out there! She has tons of experience, studies and works in the veterinary field, she is super family oriented and friendly, and really knows what she’s doing! I recommend her to anyone I know who is looking for someone to help care for their furry babies!
