I've cared for dogs since my middle school days, but not as much so as the past couple of years. For the past three years, I lived with and cared for 3 amazing dogs, each one with their own personality. Max, a St. Bernard/Great Pyrenees mix was the chillest dog you'll ever meet. Daisy, a St. Bernard, is extremely food motivated. And Charlie, a German Shepherd/ Border Collie mix could play fetch all day if you let him. Now that the dogs are headed to Hawaii, I have a lot of love (and time) to devote to someone else's pet! I currently work from home and make my own schedule so I'm usually free at the drop of a hat. Before Max, Daisy, and Charlie met me, they had never been trained. Since I was the one at home with them all day, I was in charge of their training. I worked with a professional trainer to work on things like leash training, crate training, commands, and more. Since Charlie was still a puppy when I met him, I taught him the sit, stay, and down commands. My biggest feat though was teaching Daisy to roll over. If you've ever met a 140 pound St. Bernard you would know just how impressive that is. But like I said, she'd do anything for a treat!
