Loving and Patient Caretaker
I love animals more than anything! I have two cats and two dogs, but have taken care of several strays over the years. My friends and family consider me their go to pet caretaker. Through my work at an animal shelter I have experience working with dogs of different temperaments. From dogs still in their puppy era needing to be tired out, to old souls that need a quick stroll and a spot to lay down. I have some experience with reactive dogs, and own a reactive dog myself. I have experience with some blind and disabled dogs.

I have personal experience working with stray dogs and reactive dogs. I personal take care of a reactive dog, and over the years I have reduced her reactivity and our walks are much more calm. My other dog is a stray I found on the street, and but he did not have any behavior issues i had to be worried about. Other stray dogs i worked to gain their trust and have been able to get to safe places. My experience working at a shelter has taught me how to handle even more reactive dogs, exercise patients handling them, and some defensive handling skills. Cats seem easier, but i understand my presence can bring stress to their lives. Patience with cats is important, and creating a routine for familiarity is the best course of action for temperamental cats.

I'm so grateful for sitters like Luis, best one I ever had. Was quick and efficient and followed instructions perfectly. It was a last minute request while I was already out of town and he saved the day!

He has been great with our dogs and that means the cold to us.
Luis was great with our mix of dogs. He kept in mind each of their needs and ensured that they got all they could out of their time with him. We have one that fears other humans, one that thinks he is a guard dog and one that just wants all the love and attention she can get. He met them all where they were and let them feel safe. He communicated well and gave great feedback on how they did. It felt so good to know our pups were in good hands.
Luis is the person I trust most to take care of my pets. I’ve known him for about 15 years and he has been dog sitting and cat sitting for my family for that entire time. He has experience working at the humane society, and has a great love for animals and their wellbeing. He always gives animals in his care his full attention.
Luis has watched my animals SO many times over the years and he's always my first choice. Does great work and you always can tell this isn't just a gig. He loves all animals and genuinely cares about what he does. Can't recommend him enough.
